    this company stole my money, because after cancellation of the ink service i CAN'T use ink I paid for - I have new ink they sent me before cancellation and they are not working, because I am not member anymore. So I paid 5 years for the service, they sent ink 1 time per year the ink (black one just one time per 2 years) and I can't use them. So I paid my money to the company which took my money and didn't let me to use ink I paid for - this was the point - I pay and use the inks. The inks they sent me weren't for free. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, BECAUSE THEY DON'T RESPECT CUSTOMERS.

      I feel the same way you do about the ink service. It really is not fair that you pay for ink in advance and then you are not able to use it if you cancel the service. It's like you are being forced to keep the service to use the ink that you have already paid for. IT'S REALLY NOT FAIR!! I have been telling everyone I know not to use the ink service. You will be better off just purchasing your ink from a retail store.

      I gave away this printer and bought a new from another company with possibility to fill inks from the bottles. I will never use this company again.

    Why do you have to use only HP ink cartridges? Does HP own the printer and people are only renting? This is stealing. I bought a printer, not a deal that I can only use it by purchasing HP ink.

    Losing the ability to use Ink you have paid for already after the subscription ends is really sinister. What a significant margin you'll make, and so sustainable too! Trash company. Do not use this.

    It should not be difficult to cancel Ink subscription especially when you haven’t used it for months. paying for for a service you no longer need or want. I would not recommend this company. HP want to charge me another months money for severely underused subscription there is no justification for taking more money.

    My printer no longer works. The troubleshooting didn't work. So I canceled my subscription, but can't cancel the account. Can't change or erase information. I HATE it. I have cartridges that I couldn't and can't use. The business practices are unfair. I went to try to cancel the account, following the information, and all it does is cancel the subscription. I want to cancel the entire account. How do I do this? Don't send me to the same link. The information is still there.

      No, the problem is that you are forcing customers to use your ink. We should be able to use whatever ink we want to use. I was able to use my printer until a couple of weeks ago. It suddenly stopped printing because I don't have an official HP ink cartridge. This business model is extremely disappointing. I'm going with Canon.

    I'm seriously thinking about cancelling. The whole point of it is to not out of ink because Instant Ink monitors your ink levels. Sure enough, I ran out of ink. They claim that they sent the new cartridges the day I ran out and it would take 3 - 10 days to receive my shipment. Not acceptable. The only reason I signed up in the first place was to not run out of ink. Beware, if you sign up. I no longer can reccomend this HP service.

    Hello, What is the number to customer service please? I need to speak with someone to cancel my subscription because I paused my service today thinking it would pause until I unpause it for 6 months. However, that isn't the case. It's for only one month and I'll have to pause it again in March and every month after that. I was trying to prevent from canceling my subscription while my house is being remodeled. I don't have time to reset pausing my service every month. So I just wish to cancel it. Please and thank you.

    Am I to understand that the HP cartridges from the "plan" are somehow "coded" so the printer (and HP) know that if you cancel your plan that the cartridges will no longer work ?!?!?!?!?
    Am I also to understand that the cartridges that I'll be buying from a retailer somehow don't have this mysterious "code" ?!?!?!?

      If you cancel HP instant ink service:
      You can continue printing with Instant Ink supplies until the end of your current billing cycle.
      At the end of the billing cycle, you must remove Instant Ink cartridges and purchase Original HP Ink or Toner directly from the retailer of your choice to continue printing. Instant Ink cartridges only work in enrolled printers.
      Your final monthly charge comes at the end of the billing cycle.
      The Paper Add-on service ends with your Instant Ink service.

    I'm pretty sure I'm going to donate this printer (HP Envy 6000 All in One) because of this obnoxious and greedy subscription service and never touch anything HP related again. This is f--king AWFUL.

    HP Instant Ink is a scam!! Do not do it. They overcharge you, threry lie about the service you are getting. Pages do not roll over, they charge you for that, they charge you for pages you didn't even use and your printer magically doesn't work after canceling the subscription. This happened to me with three different printers. No wonder y'all were being sued a couple years ago. Y'all are crooks.

    your printers are terrible have no idea how such a big company can sell such unreliable stuff. all a printer has to do is print nothing else and it cant even do that 75% of the time. but theres 'limited support'. your companys wack

    OK. Let me get this straight. I cancel my plans on two printers because I just don't use it enough to justify paying for it (which BTW, I had subscribed for years with plenty of rollover each month), you send me confirmation, tell me my cartridges will have to me replaced with other cartridges upon canceling, and when the D-Day comes, you brick the (practically new) cartridges in both my printers via internet. How does that exactly help HP? It certainly doesn't help me or your customers' outlook of HP (which will definitely affect future purchases). All that did was create more waste. Because of this poor business model. I will never use HP again...ever. And yes, I do mean it.
