Not exaggerating, but Red Velvet is really the girl group with most beautiful and sweet voices. When I listen to their ballad songs, I feel like being in a paradise with angels singing around me. They should really be more popular for their perfect vocals.

Yeri: She has such a youthful, cute voice and she's only improving. Her voice adds a youthful feel to Red Velvet songs, and her bass notes perfectly complete Red Velvet's harmonies.
Irene: She has a really soft voice, also improving a lot. Her voice is perfect for doing the more low-key, slower parts of Red Velvet's songs, and her low harmonization is also heavenly.
Joy: She has one of the most unique and beautiful voices I've ever heard, it's very sweet. She adds more flavor to Red Velvet songs, and she sings ballads with such emotion, her voice is really refreshing.
Seulgi: Also has a super unique voice, her voice can be sweet, and more womanly and powerful. Her voice is so versatile that it fits both Red and Velvet songs. She's one of those lead vocals who, along with the main vocal, make up the group's signature sound, much like Taengsic. ( Sorry for the comparison lol, just an example. )
Wendy: Red Velvet's powerhouse, and one of the strongest new generation girl group vocalists. Her high notes add fun and complete Red songs, and her voice is absolutely perfect for RnB songs like in their Velvet album, her low notes in Automatic were everything ❤️❤️ She is also versatile, she can sing emotional ballads while still maintaining her awesome technique.

Simran Takhar Well, I didn't want to exclude them since they're part of Red Velvet too, and even though they aren't strong vocalists, they can definitely sing. Without their voices there is definitely an emptiness in Red Velvet's harmonies since their low harmony is what completes them ❤️

Have you found out that Red Velvet's songs have a lot of harmonization in it? For *One Of These Nights*, Yeri and Irene did lower notes while Joy and Seulgi does the lead, similar in *Candy*, *Oh Boy*, *Wish Tree* and more. I hope they continue with this, it shows all of their vocal colour.

I think Yeri has a stable lower notes as shown in that OOTN mr and she really harmonize well with Wendy in that short clip of SNSD cover they did in Thailand.Irene did the lower for that short acapella of Talk to Me with Seulgi and their voices really complement in Singderella. JWS are of course really really good singers,they clearly shows their vocal prowess and impressive harmonization in Immortal Song.The acapella version and live they did for Stick with you also proved how well their voices complement each other . This is also the reason why I think as a group they have undeniable chemistry.

정리해드리자면 이번에 레드벨벳 'Would U'는 슬기, 웬디, 아이린, 예리가 노래 불렀습니다. 조이는 드라마 촬영으로 아예 참여를 못했고요. 슬기,웬디,예리,조이는모두 작년 슴스테1에서 각각 뮤비 주인공으로 출연한 적이 있어서 이번에는 아이린만 뮤비에 나온 것 같아요. 슬기는 'Darling U'/ 웬디는 '봄인가봐'와 캐롤송' ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’/ 조이는 '이별을 배웠어'/ 예리는 '집 앞에서'라는 곡에 참여한 적이 있습니다. 그래서 이번에 시즌2에 레드벨벳이라는 단체로 음원을 냈음에도 배려 차원으로 아이린을 뮤비에 출연할 수 있게 해준 것 같습니다. 남녀 주인공 컨셉도 한 몫 한 것 같습니다..
레벨이라는 이름으로 나오는 슴스테인데 아이린만 뮤비에 나와서 많이들 아쉬워하고 안좋게 보는 시선이 있네요. 저도 주현이 팬이지만 레벨 다 좋아해서 그 부분은 아쉽게 생각합니다..ㅠㅠ 그래도 아이린 너무 나쁘게만 생각하지 말아주셨으면 좋겠습니다..ㅠ

carat I’m not forcing Irene lol. Irene has expressed interest in acting and she received good responses for her web drama so she should also get the opportunities for a drama or station song. It is high time for her to get solo activities. RV are on their 5th year cbs are gonna slow down so fitting 2-3 months for a drama shouldn’t be hard if managed properly. Many idols act and promote with their groups without missing schedules it isn’t a one or other situation.
