Truthfully, I would rather not see personal tensions…competitive, yes…personal, no. It’s best to allow them to find their way toward a middle ground without stoking possible tensions by harping on them. Athletes of this caliber have common ground.
This interview was straight cringe. The journalist was just trying to pry a narrative out of him for a headline. Jakob should’ve just got up and walked out, his patience was admirable.
