a good tip i figured out was to fist reroll your best item stat BEFORE leveling them. That way you are in control of the first 2 substats, increasing your RNG. Once you have those two as you want, then upgrade.
I do the same except I just reroll until I get a speed substat and then upgrade. Given this is a turn based game I'd argue that only speed as a substat(when not a main) matters. More Speed=Go fist and take more turns than your opponent.
thx for this video. Very helpful and made me wonder... never really noticed the wood and steel cost of 6 star crafting... really hope they will improve the selling ui through mobile. I find it very very limited in filtering ;)
How do the two pieces that you have to select in the equipment crafting screen affect the outcome. I haven't used any yet bc I'm not to 6* crafting yet. Does selecting both of them guarantee 6*? Does it affect any of the more desirable stats? Etc ...
I would say that at this stage of the game, it doesn’t even matter. I wouldn’t waste any of those mats at this phase of the game. You will be able to clear all content without wasting time and energy on that. It’s when new content is released and you need to hit certain dmg and speed thresholds is when I would focus on that. Unless you are trying to be super competitive in arena, it doesn’t matter at this stage of the game.
Not % but uncommon when you max it, only +1, rare +2 and leggo's +3. You see the atk helm he has, he has +1 def%, cs dmg% +1 and hit acc% +1 since its legendary
the % wise only differs from the different star level gear, obviously 6 star gear will get you the most %, but they all stay the same within that star grade for the main stat.

Great, concise & informative video once again!
Thank you for all the information💪🏿
thank you for you vids, very informative
I believe the uses of 6 star rare gear is rolling for the speed substat. Then upgrading and hope it hits
6 star rare gear is definitely worth keeping. 5 star rare gear I don't believe is if you can farm 6 star gear

There is some truth to this but I wanted to make a video that had a little longevity
Does legendary and rare pieces differ from stats also? Like % wise?

No but as the other have said with legendary pieces you can triple roll a starting substat instead of just 2 times with rare pieces
