Mollystone
is a ditty about an angry little girl
with a stone in her pocket
and as she saunters reluctantly
away from another bully
she squeezes it hard
and imagines it to be a white hot bullet
in the back of a neck
and as she struggled with that thought
one day it snapped with ease
and surprised her of her strength
from that day on
she’d skip right past them
