I feel so bad for Kendall because she's such a sweet girl and people have been hating on her over something that she has no control over. She deserves her spot in VCHA and I know she's gonna do amazing!
Kendall adds that unique voice to the group and is a good lead to the main vocals with Camilla and KG

Actually i am a blink.But Since i have watched A2K. I am bacame a fans of the girls.
Is it cringey if we vibe to it? 😊 tbh I think the song is pretty age appropriate, growing up as a kid this type of music was prevalent. Western music pretty much abandoned this sound the last 10-15 yrs, and left kids listening to more “adult” music, idk if VCHA continues this sound for awhile and eventually evolve as they grow up I don’t really mind
I agree that its the type of music I would have listened to from ages 5-9… but when I was 15/16? Not so much. Maybe that’s why it has the “cringe” factor for me? Dont get me wrong, I enjoy the song and think it is catchy! I just hope it isnt the permanent direction they are going. They dont need to make “adult” songs.. i think the messaging is fine, it’s more so the sound that I would love to turn into a less pop / kidsbop sound! Hopefully that all makes sense!! So, I think their debut will tell us a lot more about the direction this group is going.

But I don't think that they can have a mature sound for a long time because of the youngest's age. As soon as Kaylee was added I knew that this was the direction the music would go in. I get that her talent is amazing so I see why she made it but there's no market for this sound in America outside of Disney so I'm worried. Also, they can't be alluring in the sneaky way New Jeans is (just look at a live performance of Attention.. hair flips, peering big eyes from behind that hair, smirks, winks) because that doesn't fly in the west. We will see.
Strangely, KG & Kaylee stand out the most.
Musicbank has always been the show for good MR removed vids. They always use lowered backing tracks compared to other shows. So its great you reacted to that one
Definitely, Kendall still has a lot to improve on but what gave her the boost in rankings is the staff's evaluation of her character. Given that she's really a favorite of JYP, it's not really just his decision. The coaches give a lot of input and in creating a group, character or a talent's willingness to learn counts a lot. Take it from "Sixteen", the reality show that created Twice. In selecting the final members there, the coaches there had a say/vote in who finally made the group. Haters can say all they want but character still counts in JYPE.
