K-Pop LEE HI Killing Voice Live Performance Dingo Music First Time Reaction
Lee Hi is a soloist in South Korea although she started out as a kpop artist, she’s more regarded as a krnb artist more since her discography leans more on soul/rnb music. She debuted in 2012 with 1,2,3,4. She was 16 years old when she debuted. She’s 25 now. She became popular after winning runner up for Kpopstar (like a korean american idol) then later signed under YG Entertainment until 2019. She’s in AOMG now though. She’s actually very popular in korea but she barely had comebacks although she always topped the charts whenever she releases music. You can check out her discography, it’s quite a small sample size. 3 albums (First Love - 2013, Seoulite- 2016, and 4 ONLY - 2021) and 1 EP (24C - 2020). Her collabs with Code Kunst are great too and probably shows more of her rnb. Her recent album (4 ONLY) just dropped and it’s actually rated 5 stars by NME. All her albums are definitely gold so you can listen to them. Also welcome to the lee hi fan club.
Been a fan of hers since her audition for kpop star and man, you've got a journey ahead of you! Aside from her mainstream stuff I definitely recommend checking out her work with Code Kunst, especially O, X, XI, Xii. Also her Bohemian Rhapsody cover for the movie!

Lee Hi does not has single bad song, the more you explore to her music, you will get addicted just like us. It has been 9 years since her debut at 16 years old, i still remembered the first time i saw her in the audition program Kpopstar 1 (2011), when she opened her mouth spit out the first note (Burst your window), i like holyshit, what a voice! and fell in love instantly until now. You should check on the Mercy cover she did in that show, legendary performance!

Thanks for reacting to Lee Hi. She deserves a lot more attention. Don't limit yourself to just her songs with videos. A lot of her masterpieces are so-called "b-side" tracks. You should do an album review of her entire "Seoulite" album for example. (Songs like "Up All Night", "Passing By", "Fxxk Wit Us", "Video" and "World Tour" should not be missed.
For some great live performances that you can see online, I recommend her live performance of "Here Come the Regrets" (with Epik High), her live performance of "Rose" on the Begin Again show, her live duet of "Because I Love You" (also on the Begin Again show). Also check out her performance in "Happen Ending" (also with Epik High) and her "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" duet. Just some suggestions.

The song 1,2,3,4 came out 9 years ago. Lee Hi is currently 24 (international age). That means she was belting out that song at the tender age of 15.

Unfortunately she doesn't have as much MVs even though she's been in the industry for 10 years so go check out the b-sides too

Oh, yeah. She is awesome. Love the voice. I thought I would just randomly jump in to one of your Kpop reactions even though I had not heard the artist before.
Love her ad libs in 1, 2, 3, 4. And throughout she does these moments of movement and attitude that fits the phrase she is singing, but then has to smile, almost like she is laughing at her own audacity.

The fandom is called hicecream , personally am sad that I didn’t get to know her earlier, I first heard her voice in a drama ost (2016) and I was so crazy , I went to UA-cam to check her out and behold I was trapped , I checked her stuff right from kpop star ( audition) to her current album then, all her covers , featurings, university festivals and concerts everything I could find, her English pronunciation is on point, very soulful and unique vocals, she has the charisma, and sassines , she is beautiful, a complete package. Up till date I feel as if my soul is being pierced with a knife whenever I hear her sing, am so glad I know her as an artist
A fun fact is that Lee Hi’s known for her good Korean pronunciation as well. She’s probably the only singer in Korea who has a clear pronunciation in Korean no matter how the pitch, beat or the genre of the song is! Keep supporting her! She’s a true 💎!!

Tiptoe is not Leehi's song, she's featuring in it and the hangul word in the parentheses is the hangul spelling of leehi or leehayi, her real name. The automatic original is not her song too, in the remix there's a lot of artists and Leehi's verse is 3rd. The automatic verse in this killing voice is a censored one.
