- My entry for the 2014 BBC Proms 'Inspire' competition. There were no limits to what you could write, and I didn't set myself any.
Many elements in the piece are probably quite recognisable from some of my other works (and some coming up as well) - this piece of music is a bundle of some of the instruments, soundscapes and ideas that I love and is a representation of me. It is an original piece of music that was written specifically for the competition.
As a result, you can get this track for free - as of 4th of June 2014, it didn't make even the highly commended, and it would be unfair to start charging for it now! Download it here:

Isn‘t that the soundtrack from the Movie "how to train your Dragon 3"?😍 or am I confused
No you're dead right, John Powell wrote this all the way back in 2014, five years before the movie was actually made, and then I stole the audio and uploaded it! And then weirdly enough, now the movie has come out, this track is nowhere to be found on the soundtrack. Weird, huh?
yeah I´m even more confused right now then I was before.. but I looked it up, I heared it here: ua-cam.com/video/rlpb3RRDwOo/v-deo.html and was surprised that there is an "original" soundtrack that was uploaded before (here on your channel in 2014). But now I saw the comments under the httyd video and they say that the httyd video is fake so I´m really confused xD Anyway, I love the soundtrack!! That´s the message xD @@MarcusWarnerMusic

I just googled marcus warner - the guy who made this song - and he was born in 1996. nineteen-ninety-six. he is only 20/21 years old. this guy is so young he can say he was a teenager last year. that's insane. yet another proof that talent has no age, and that you can accomplish anything if you really set your heart into it. well done, warner. even though you're so so so young, you manage to make amazing music.

One of my favorite tracks from Marcus in the old days, such harmony, such blissful melodies, the blend of instrunents and strings is pure fantasy. An outstanding choral effect of emotion and spirit. You can truly feel the soul of the work here, and the heart he put into this piece, it is brimming with love and passion, something not a lot of modern musicians these days can achieve easily. It is pure, it's without intention, it just is.
This is my favorite too. I can't believe Marcus wrote this one in 2014, so early in his career. He is a prodigy.

Great soundtrack for a movie about the Age of Discovery. I can feel the ocean's breeze and hear the people's dreams on the day a caravel was being set to sail for the very first time towards the unknown... Amazing!

Just thought i should let you know: I am currently writing a History fantasy epic. I tend to, amongst other things, to listen to playlists of music in order to organize my thoughts. This particular song has helped me create the theme for my book. The feelings it creates, awe, excitement, joy, happiness, positivity. It creates magic out of melody. Not only that, but it has helped me visualize every sea scene. The scents, the feels, the sounds, the picture of sailors running aboard the ships on a windy day. People smiling. Thank you for creating this! It truly is a work of art, and don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. Not even yourself.

Just now listened to this for the first time, must say that i have never once been disappointed by your music.
This track was almost a breath of fresh air for me, it has a different type of sound than many of your others. I'm no music critic, but to me this one felt a lot lighter and more lilting than many of your other works. Lots of changes between walls of sound and quieter valleys, and that is always great stuff!
Great work, already saving my pennies to buy the album later this year! Please, never stop being awesome!

Wow, this song is like, perfection. It has all the elements that I love plus those chorus-like vocals. Not sure exactly what that is called but it reminds me of Gregorian chanting or vocals from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It just hits a note within and it's truly wonderous.

Marcus Warner's originality is in the smoothness of his epic music. It reminds me of angelic choirs of the Renaissance and yet his music is epic.
