Why would they do that if they wanted to enforce Aerith and Zack only. And Aerith is clearly in love with cloud now. I really hope they don't end up with some shit like that after creating their songs for each other.
Im wondering why they did a kiss with tifa and not with aerith. It made me a bit sad but its true that there are another non optional scenes that make clear they are in love.

I understand that...tragic love stories are always impactful. What makes me saddest is knowing that in Rebirth, Square allows you to kiss another person in an optional scene... that's what bothers me the most, because that scene goes against the story being told and that revolts me... after everything I've seen between Aerith and Cloud, a magical relationship full of chemistry... having a kissing scene with someone else, even if it's optional, made me feel... betrayed @@acalternating2693
Not really. First of all Zerith is destroyed and the game confirms Aerith is 100% in love with Cloud and also there are strong indications that Cloud is in love with her too. Plus the ending hints of an alternate timeline where Cloud saved her and gives us hopes for part 3.
@@francisco24slb1 Zerith is truly dead. And there is no reason to "defy destiny" if anything stays the same. Plus the last chapter of Rebirth was written literally for Cloud and Aerith. I'm very positive for part 3.

FF7 Rebirth is such a cruel game for those who like Aerith/Cloud... It's torture for many reasons.
Idk... Maybe because I am a big fan of tragic story, I'm kinds of enjoy it. But it's always good to see different opinions.
