Jomo Walkler i mean that was kinda expected by the D-Line if we're being honest. Bush and David Long have been suprising so far this year for this dominant defense
Harbaugh handcuffed him like he did all our other QBs. QBs and WR's can't develop being limited to 13 to 17 throws a game at this time. Hopefully JJ isn't handcuffed this year and Harbaugh doesn't cut the WR's off in the Redzone in favor of TE's
Bro you are a bandwagon lol. Thought u was an eagles fan lol?? Unless you only liked the eagles cuz they won the Superbowl last year lol. #BANDWAGONALERT
Bryan Zachery, the refs cheated Michigan again, they got paid off.....we beat Michigan state fair and square, we beat MSU in 2015 but the the refs cheated and didn't call an off side penalty on the botched punt, the refs cheated us in the Iowa loss and again against Ohio State, we got hosed!!!!the refs were paid off again in the FSU bowl loss!!!!!
AT LEAST, let him start the MS game. At worst, give him the second half. Jim is just stupid if he doesn't ride this train of success. 1/10 vs 3/3 in the red zone. How do you argue that stat.
And you've seen enough from Speight to believe he can be the QB for this offense? O'korn accomplished more in 1/2 of a game then what Wilton has for over 3 games this year. Also, those conditions last year were horrible. Throwing the ball when it's that cold and windy is going to make any passing attack look bad.
Is it just me or do you think that Purdue plays dirty as hell? Especially with the Speight play that injured his Neck and the second targeting that was clearly aimed to hit O'Korn in the head.
They didn't call a penalty for targeting on that play. I agree that he dove on Speight, but it was after the play had ended and obviously a late hit. Yes, Purdue played very dirty. Every targeting penalty Purdue received was blatantly targeting and the correct call. Desmond Williams has no clue.
ThoseWhoStayUofM thank you. Glad someone agrees, i do however think the first target wasn't on purpose because O'Korn underthrew the receiver causing him to go downward and it gave the defender no area to attempt to make a legal hit.
Russell Westbeast, it is the responsibility of the defender to avoid contact with the head or neck area of a defenseless player. It is the responsibility of the coaches to teach their defensive backs to avoid the receiver's head and neck area breaking on a crossing route over the middle. You are not allowed to hit the receiver head on like that otherwise it's targeting a defenseless player. If he didn't do it on purpose, then he did it out of negligence. He did it. This is not an intent crime. You're correct that it would be very difficult to legally hit the receiver. When a receiver is going down for a pass, low to the ground, a safety breaking on the pass that cannot make a play on the ball must avoid contact with the receiver. It's either negligence or on purpose. Either way, you know that you're about to hit a player in the head that cannot defend himself but you do it anyway because you want the tackle, because you like to hit, because you want to injure... I don't care. It's dirty to hit defenseless players in the head and it's a personal foul and will get you rightfully ejected.
John Stanko, I looked at it. What about it? That is literally a perfectly clean football play. The helmet came off after the player hit the ground, not due to the impact of the hit itself. Safeties are allowed to hit offensive receivers as they come into contact with the ball. They're coached to hit receivers in this way. Everything Michigan did at 8:40 is fundamentally sound football technique. To clarify, at 8:40, the pass was high and the defender did not go down to contact the receiver in the head or neck area. It is when the pass is low, and the defender lowers his head into the receiver, that the defender should be coached not to go down to make a hit. At 8:40, the pass was high and the defender made a clean hit on the receiver that was not at the head or neck area. Review the tape.
I guess I wasn't the only one who missed the first 1/4 because of the Cub/Brewer game in OT
jumps from 13 min in the 1st Q to 6:34!
That's because nothing relevant happened in that timeframe. Raw file had the entire game.
This is the game that turned Michigan’s season upside down with Speight injury.
I knew Bush was going to be good this year, but damn
Winnovich is a beast .. um not to meantion Gary ... Hurst .. etc
Jomo Walkler i mean that was kinda expected by the D-Line if we're being honest. Bush and David Long have been suprising so far this year for this dominant defense
Go Blue in 2022! Michigan 42 - Purdue 17
This would be Spaight's last game as a Michigan Wolverine
This John O’Korn kid sure is something special.
Parker Churchill somebody wanna break the news?
Let’s not break the news
The scorekeeper puts the wrong score on the board at 7:25
energy in the stadium was electric/ memorable game day
I remember thinking we had something with O'Korn in there. Still waiting for a QB to bring us to the promise land
Hopefully JJ McCarthy
JJ is that QB
Harbaugh handcuffed him like he did all our other QBs. QBs and WR's can't develop being limited to 13 to 17 throws a game at this time. Hopefully JJ isn't handcuffed this year and Harbaugh doesn't cut the WR's off in the Redzone in favor of TE's
Purdue TD drive is so classic, what a drive!
11:21 now that is impressive!
purdue played so dirty in this game
The camera work was horrible in this game. Seriously. What the hell Purdue
Zachary Gauss not Purdues fault that FOX decided that they wanted to give viewers the damn blimp cam
7:28 that's a neck
The new starter is JOK he brings the whole package as a starter #JOKexperince
Cold takes exposed
I was at that game
Bro you are a bandwagon lol. Thought u was an eagles fan lol?? Unless you only liked the eagles cuz they won the Superbowl last year lol. #BANDWAGONALERT
I was there too. We wish we had known they changed the policy on bringing bottled water that day.
This was the O'Korn/Gentry game.
#GOBLUE #MICHIGAN
Michigan Man learn how to spell first lol
were you dropped on your head as a kid?
Michigan Man how exactly?? Explain
Michigan Man Ok that's what I thought don't have shit to say. You just mad cuz I look better than you

22:20 OKORN HUGS FORMER COACH
I hated that call when they ejected number 41
O'Korns ONLY Good Game
He made him pay for that late hit
I think John O'Korn should be the starter going forward even if Wilton is healthy
Colin Northrup he has more talent and he's more experienced
Colin Northrup you're right Colin!
I need to see more of O'Korn. His start last year scared me. But, this game was promising
I'd take most high schoolers over Speight
Purdue lost 2 of it's best defensive players, they had their chances the whole game and they just didnt figure things out.
Is it just me or do you think that Purdue plays dirty as hell? Especially with the Speight play that injured his Neck and the second targeting that was clearly aimed to hit O'Korn in the head.
