  • The United Nations Security Council held a meeting to assess the situation in Afghanistan.
In this meeting, the head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) criticized the continuation of restrictions on women and girls in Afghanistan and said that the continuation of this situation has had a negative impact on the lives of half of the country's population. Roza Otenbayova asked the members of the Security Council to pay more attention to the people of Afghanistan, especially women in this country.
This is while the Islamic Emirate has always rejected the violation of human rights in the country and emphasized that human rights, especially the rights of women, are protected more than ever before in the country according to Islamic Sharia.
