Excellent video and editing. I didn't expect to be so interested in a motor mount video but I watched all the way through. In honor of my sometimes insufferable Mopar or no car friends I love this project haha
I toyed around with other engine ideas. 5.2 voodoo, S85 V10, and kept coming back to the compact and easy to support LS. It fits what I want to do very well.
OK 70 Charger - I'm in! I too have a 70 Charger. LS engine? Well, we saw from the start that it's a Charger in skin only. Torsion bars aren't even in the plans. Oh well. It's your car + it's fabrication!
You've got it absolutely right. It's all me on the inside, and charger on the outside. Funny enough, I referenced a lot of Chevelle chassis drawings for this design since the cars are similarly sized (within about 8" of one another).
love the "plain english" side bar videos lol. also commend your bravery comiting to motor mounts without the motor or headers present. love the f117 design theme!!! very cool
Don't commend me too early. I cheated and measured and mocked up well ahead of time. The next step will have the engine in place, adn you'll see how there's a load of room for the exhaust primaries.
10:46 Trail Mater does unnecessary front digs and now we have unnecessary tigs lol Accidentally clicked on your latest video and now on my 8th. Subbed to follow along and maybe learn a thing or two!
Pretty sure Unnecessary TIG will be a new decal. So glad you accidentally clicked on the video. In the immortal words of the philosopher, John McClane, “Welcome to the party, pal!”

Glad you’re here, and thank you for sticking it out. For the faithful, I’ll make sure the blasphemy is offset by lots of detailed fab work.
Not really a purist when it comes to ProTouring builds but a Ram SRT V-10 would be pretty cool and not HUGE money. But hey, it's your project.

Awesome fab work, no primer etc to coat the internal surfaces?
Thanks man. There is still some welding to do, and I’ll primer through the threaded bosses.

@@WillometMotorFab It was a joke off of Chris's comment. The level of this build tig is the way. 🍻Cheers
Thank you ! I am injoying watching and learning!😊
Glad you’re enjoying it. These were a lot of fun to make.
What kind of engine crossmember are you planning?
That’s up next. Integral to the chassis is the plan.
@@WillometMotorFab Awesome! I’m looking forward to seeing it.
