What I love about live Zappa is how he always changed things up depending who was in the band at the time! It's a never ending source of fascination. My favourite artist of all! ;{-
I know this post is 4 years old-- but just have to say... Frank Zappa was one of the most FEARLESS musicians/guitarists/composers who ever stepped out onto a stage in front of an audience! Could REINVENT the melody on the spot-- and often DID, and make it sound more INTERESTING :) Will NEVER be another one like him! He came along at the right time-- and left US too soon. But, his music is FOREVER and MUSIC IS THE BEST!
One of those little youtube gems you occasionally come across...
Off the scale good.He transposed his love of classical music and humour over to rock so well.
I think he is a secret and sacred mushroomer
fatoldsunflaming and he says "i smokin pot 9-10 times" we know the truth i think
George Duke really kills it on this recording.
RIP George Duke.
And thank Frank for everything.
On this track; Ralph Humphrey, possibly Chester Thompson, Ian Underwood, Bruce Fowler, Tom Fowler, George Duke, Ruth Underwood, possibly Jean Luc Ponty......... the best band line-up he ever had.
The all star line-up! Incredible! This is like treasure.
Ian Underwood was just ridiculous, love this footage of him
Absolutely brilliant composition and exceptional performance. I love the music of Frank Zappa.

This is a killer performance! Everyone is so tight here!
You will never hear this much talent on 1 stage anymore...such a pity.
You must only watch videos of rock bands on stage then.
