3:42 放送当時、DX玩具を集め始めた頃には既に懸賞の締め切りが過ぎていたから、ボクのビッグオーダールームは最初から諦めました。
遠い未来、まさかバンダイのスーパーロボット超合金を集めてビッグオーダールームが手に入るとは思いませんでした。
The toys were distributed by Takara, not Tomy. This was before they merged.

@@nekotora3415 FuRyu and RaiRyu though were not released separately. You had to get them both as GekiRyuJin. This is most likely due to falling toy sales for GaoGaiGar at the time. If you had bothered to read the WHOLE comment you would have known that.

Haha, cool stuff! GekiRyuJin got the snub of the century though, just getting shown for two seconds at the end of King J-Der's commerical. I guess we can't all be ChoRyuJin, killer of dinosaurs!
Thanks for putting this up, that little inflatable Dividing Driver at the start is equal parts awesome and hilarious, I love this series and have never seen that particular bit of merchandise before.

FuRyu and RaiRyu weren't introduced until about a third of the way into the show. By then, Takara must have realised that sales for GaoGaiGar were down and sales for Beast Wars were up. So they then focused on selling them more then GaoGaiGar toys.
Takara made these. People are worried about Hasbro owning Power Rangers, but with Takara behind them they will succeed.
Oh how this comment aged extremely poorly in just 6 years. Hasbro indeed killed the Power Rangers line lol.

放送当時、模型誌モデルグラフィックスの愛ゆえに暴走した作例は凄まじく、簡単に真似出来るシロモノではなかった。
例:ガンドーベル、ガングルーのロボ形態の為に、ガンプラ２体(GMだったか)を使用。
DX玩具の改造作例は色々と凄かったですね。食玩のプライヤーズも、わざわざレジンに置換して改造したりしてましたし。
でも、超竜神と撃龍神のDX玩具は最後までお呼びでなかったようで…。

Did the show ever make it over to the USA? Cause I swear if it did in the 90's I think it would've gotten over huge with kids in that generation. I mean we got a pretty fair amount mecha in that decade and I'm pretty sure it would've at least garnered a lot of attention. We got stuff like Voltron, Robotech, Tekkaman Blade, Gundam and others I can't remember; and that's not counting what showed up with Toonami. If it did show up stateside; I'm shocked I missed out on it; and if it didn't, I'm shocked it didn't.
The show was released by Media Blasters many years ago but it didn't do so well, I don't think any of the toys were released in the US.
No it didn't. It wasn't broadcasted on TV, nor did the toy line come over from Japan. The TV series did get released on DVD by Media Blasters, but due to poor sales, only the first half was dubbed (by Central Park Media using the same New York voice talents as 4Kids, but dubbed uncut), but all 49 episodes were available in Japanese with English subtitles. However the GaoGaiGar Final OVA wasn't released.
I'm many years late for this, but it's getting a new blu-ray release, along with the sequel OVA later! All of the extras, including these commercials, are going to be included, as far as I know!
The show was brought overseas a few years after its original airing, making the toys somewhat irrelevant by that time, and only half the show was ever produced as an English dub

何故に新幹線だけ無駄にリアルなのか
タカラによると「新幹線やスーパーカーは子供も特徴をよく見ているから、デザインに嘘はつけない」とのことです。
逆にクレーン車やダンプカー等のいわゆる働く車は、色や装備などの記号的要素さえ押さえておけば車種などは適当で構わないそうで、氷竜・炎竜・風龍・雷龍のベースになる車体が同じデザインなのはそこに由来するようです。

ちなみに初期設定では、ガオーブレスからレーザー光線も撃てることになってました。
