That amount of abuse causes permanent damage and is to blame for her being stuck in the weird phase where she doesn't seem ok. I think she is doing ok given what she went through. Stop being so quick to judge. Only a strong person could make it out alive after years of mistreatment by the very people meant to protect you.

The intention was to keep her from self destructing...but one has to want that for themselves and seek the help, do the work, get support from a trusted network of people (which can be hard to find with her fame) and of course number one, reaching out to God.

The conservatorship needs to be put back in place. Hopefully with conservators who actually have her best interest at heart, not just filling their wallets
No way! She is a grown woman with mental illness and it's her money, her life. If she destroys it, let it be from her and not from someone else. She needs to be the woman to learn from her own mistakes. If she goes broke, or ends up hospitalized or god forbid worse, it's still her life and her decision to do what she wishes. We may not like it, but to be on another conservativeship is cruel. She does not have dementia.

It never ceases to amaze me how so many people, including this guy in the interview, John Nazarian, claim to know and understand what’s going on, but in actuality they haven’t got a clue.
Britney Spears CLEARLY needs serious help and no one should interfere with her family trying to help her. Is her family perfect? Of course not. No family is, nor could that even be possible.
However, they don’t seem to be abusive towards her and want to help her. Britney seems to resist because like many people who are severely mentally ill, they resist giving up control of their lives, even though they need to do that their family can look out for them and their well-being.
Most of the time, and I emphasize, MOST of the time, no one and I do mean NO ONE has your best interests at heart more than your family. Hopefully, Britney’s family can step in before it’s too late.
what are you talking about? Jamie has been an on and off alcoholic for years ..as a child that leaves you with so much trauma ..dealing with an alcoholic changes your life forever. The fact that people think that an addict is the best person to help someone with mental illness shows that people have no idea what they are talking about . I think she needed some help but it shouldn't have been her family because they obviously have their own troubles. It also is never permanent for anyone else unless the person has a disease like dementia . All the other people with mental health that have conservatorships are temporary....they aren't meant to last forever. They start to get stable and the conservatorship ends and if something happens again then you help them again... you don't take away their freedom forever..especially if they are working like a dog. There are millions and millions of people that have mental illness and we don't take their freedoms away but yet people think it's ok to do it to Britney Spears because she has money. Mental illness is very complicated and it doesn't just disappear for most and medications can work for awhile and then they might not work the same anymore....it doesn't always mean people aren't taking any meds.. It's frightening how people out there think it's ok to just take away someone's freedom and autonomy forever. Like I said ..I know many people with mental illness and nobody has done that to them... her family isn't the ones to help her...too much damage has been done.
