  • My new still ongoing LED earring project with addressable LEDs.

    Main features:
    16 PCB edge mounted WS2812B-2020 LEDs
    ICs mounted 90° for small earring diameter
    rechargeable Li-Ion battery "inside" the PCB
    ATtiny 45 running Neopixel library
    3.6V booster converter
    button for animation selection

    This is amazing to see this far into the process.
    I've been prototyping something like this to go inside of gauges for stretched ears.
    You already got it mostly figured out. Well done. Definitely subscribed

      Yes, hope so. Have to change some minor things in the next iteration to optimize the assembly process.

    Will the project be open source for anyone to download needed files and make it themselves or are you thinking of selling them?

      After the next iteration, it most likely will be open source, maybe I will sell some kits for people without soldering experience, but not decided yet.
