Relaxing in Tulum | Beautiful cenotes, wedding, celebrating our anniversary, the perfect get away

Thank You for your video Mrs Cindy. I was there (exactly in Akumal) in the 1999. Cenotes were absolutely wild, any or very few tourists there. In the upper surface of fresh water (lower meters is salt water), there were also some small fishes. It was more simple, not so luxury and exclusive . Playa del Carmen was very "hippy" and very free.
While snorkelling near the beach I met a wonderful turtle and an enormous grouper, she was big like a child
It has been one of my best vacation at that time, I am sure that today those places are not better: international tourism kept more business for Locals but, unfortunately, Wild Nature, immacolate places, beaches, gone worst and ...almost fake. That's the story. Have the Best

The cenotes were incredible! I agree that these areas will be adversely affected with the rise of tourism. From my experience, there were some protocols to help preserve these cenotes - crowd control and visitors were not allowed to wear sunscreen. I hope these measures help future generations experience what we could!
