i have peavey ipr2 3000 with dsp have been running them for 6 years and no problem so far with those i have the 5000 for 3 years no problem! i just bought the 7500 and have used it for about 4 months and all of these amps i have push them hard and have had no problems!!! i do have a voltage reg to make sure my voltage is not being under powerd! if your power is weak that is the fastest way to take the amps out
i just saw one of your older videos when you were talking about the plug on 7500 you said you had a cover to hide all the wires! if you are covering the back and no air can flow through the back of the amps that is why you are having problem the amps have to have a good air flow through front and back
You are right, but no. The amps were not covered. The covers went above the amp and below, covering the wires from the driverack and below covering the electrical wires.
I have two Peavey ipr amps. One was only used to run high frequency horns in a 3 way system, not really worked very hard at all. The first time it failed, I sent it back and Peavey repaired it. About a year later, the amp failed again. Multiple emails to Peavey about getting it repaired again have gone unanswered. One hell of a way to treat a long time customer (50+ years, $1000’s of $$) Never again
If you look at my latest video I’ve sold all of those amps. I went with a new amp and I have not had any problems with it and it plays a lot harder than the Peavey amplifiers
I like PV but the best amp I've ever had was a Mackie 5200. That thing was a beast. It never shut down plus it had the Limiter switch so it would not shut off. But as of now that's a old amp.
@@THEREALDJREDD oh a was asking because i could have recommended you an amp but it will under power your subs. It’s actually a peavey amp that i have but its only 1200 watts But its good. i have it since 1998 actually never gave me any problems
@@Hector_quinteros Thanks. Since the amps have been back to Peavey for repair I haven't had anymore issues with the amps. I was told from the service tech there that the amps are great amps but are poorly constructed in China.
