Wrechim is Kris's old devil horn headbands, lost many years ago, and eventually sunken to the bottom of the lake. They've been covered in grime and muck, and are barely recognizable anymore.
Lost in the deepest depths of the Lake dark world, they can see no sunlight, and breathe no air. They grime coating them has manifested as a throng of malformed, drowned sailors, all coalescing with Wrechim, seeking freedom from their suffering, or if all else fails, to drag everyone else down with them.
