Man, watching Barsby play this whole tournament, I'm surprised we don't see him on the lead/chase cards more often. He looked stellar in every part of his game. The fact that he kept it going for all 4 rounds is impressive. Was really hoping to see him walk away with the win, but excited to potentially see him a ton more.
I usually like to see the underdog win but I am some sort of Paul McBeth fanatic. I love that he is on top and makes these comebacks, he is just so impressive and I will be rooting for him until the end!!! Lets go McBeast!!!
This final 9 is probably the best footage I've watched in the past year. Watching these guys tear up this course was amazing. Hats off to Th SpinTV for coverage.
Going back to this almost 5 years later, still one of the best tournaments ever put to film. Was sadder at the time since we didn't know about the 2018 world champ though!

You could argue that that was the biggest stage any of these guys have ever played on. That was world-class disc golf and the 3500 spectators are lucky to have witnessed history in the making.

I stayed off of Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to avoid spoilers for this entire tournament... This was by far the most exciting tournament to watch for me.. I'm so glad my man Paul pulled it off again!!! Wooooo!!!

Superfizzo Good to see him back. He can put up super low scores. He had the course record at bluegill in Michigan (-11 or 61), and Paul came out and shot a -13/59, Gregg came back the next day and shot a 58. A 70 is a 1000 rated round for some perspective. The dude is a legend.

No pressure Mc Beast, its only a $2,000 putt. It looks like Barsby was in the zone coming into the tournament but McBeast will be McBeast. That was fun to watch and can't think Spin TV enough for bringing this to us.
Had to choose between newest episode of Game of thrones and this video, and here I am. I've watched all the episodes from SpinTv in this European open for the last couple of days. Very nice production and great excitement until the very end. Awesome play from each player.
When Paul says I'm ready to relive this exciting round before hole one I knew instantly the outcome just by that statement and tone of his voice. Was really hoping Barsby could pull it off. After watching the video of him imitating Ken climo and the iron leaf I love the guy. Made me lmao.
Great finish I was hoping Barsby would have won but thats the beauty of the game. Maybe they can do a drumming competition after hours. Keep rocking and hucking Greg.
In 2022 looking back at these videos you realize that disc golf blew up WAYYYY earlier in Europe than it did here in America. I don't know if we are even getting crowds this large to date. Even worlds last year I would contest wasn't this big(granted I know the fort is a tight course so less people)... but there had to be 5K people at this event and that was 9 years ago!!!
What a tough way to lose. If the OB stake doesn't block Greg on 11, he wins. If Paul's disc doesn't kick back in bounds off the fence on 18 (and miss the OB stake), Greg wins. If the brutal chain out doesn't happen on #1, they are tied. Still, a great round of golf - really well played. And the crowds are amazing.

He has had struggles with injuries in the past few years, but when his putter is on he can play with the best of them.
