Thank you, thank you, this is by far the best tip on handstand balancing that I've found on youtube. Many many thanks to your coach. very scientific tips. Even on the first trial using his tips, I found that I can control balance 5 seconds.
Thanks, Dan. The first approach worked for me and I had same mistake when the legs came off the wall. I went that way pushing off with shoulders, and felt different from before and more stable. I had just kept practicing wall-assisted HS but from now on I will try others. Good!
So helpful! I know now that I should be using my shoulders to get my legs off the wall. I believe I was making the same error. I will try this tomorrow in my practice. Thank you!
This is amazing. Thank you Dan! Now, I've seen you hold a handstand no problem. So is this an older video? Either way this is priceless for me. Been practicing freestanding handstand and I've been feeling stuck. This video helps a lot, especially the part about pushing with shoulders to get off the wall and not using your lower body.
No this is recent. I have no problem just holding the handstand using my own way but the way I tried in this video was new to me so it was more difficult to hold :)
finally after 4videos being watched...this is worth more for me to subscribe ur channel and learn more from the videos(especially handstand)...thanks for the videos bro
Very grateful for this, this is the stuff I needed, I've been watching your channel for quite some time now and I've implemented some of your ideas into my training and it does wonders for me. Keep it up with the great work, Dan !
I do not understand what the movement "push off your shoulders" mean (drill #1). Should I unlock my shoulders and push them from the wall ? I have tried many times but I feel that I lose my straight line. What helps to to take off the feet from the wall in this position is pressing hard by tips of my fingers to the floor if they are not too far from the wall (no more than about 30 cm). Can you explain please in more details? Drill# 2 is very good and is not hard for me, thanks a lot
I thought he might be 50s but I wanted to guess down in case I was wrong lol. That's crazy. You should ask him what he does everyday to keep like that.

Brilliant. Dan how do you know/find out about all of these stretches on your channel?
I don't find them from just one source. Lots of research on the web, and some of them are experimentation discovered own my own

Wow! I was working on this gym! I quit here like 3 weeks ago:)
Why did you quit?
It was sooo far:( It took 1hours to get there
Legend
amazing where you at now.. no ? :)
This guy is in his 40s and can still handstand? Awesome.
He's actually in 50s :) and can even do front lever and iron cross haha
I thought he might be 50s but I wanted to guess down in case I was wrong lol. That's crazy. You should ask him what he does everyday to keep like that.
The secret is: Start young and never stop. ;)
This is a great video Dan! I would like to ask you some questions. Do you have an email?
+Patrick Cain message me through my FB page - Dan Jeong Conditioning
Do you think handstands strengthened your wrists?
It does, but it's not enough. You gotta do separate wrists conditioning

You think you are already doing perfect form handstand but then some asian comes around the corner and shows you that you were doing shit!
