Lol people have always been canceled. The question is whether it's rational. So Rush made no revelational prediction here. They also used to "cancel" people for being witches. And by they I mean the ancestors of Rush and everyone else getting angrier by the millisecond as they read this comment. But now YOU'RE all getting canceled for raping people and being general scumbags. And that's quite alright with me. Now do what boomers do and say old and stupid things before you die in the next 10 years.

Can you please give us the number one grandaddy of all examples of cancel culture. Answer : The totally one-sided Propaganda Network known as Fox TV and Right Wing talk radio. The media outlet where the hosts or often several hosts discuss topics and agree with each other. How often has Fox TV had on the following : Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, Stephen Miller, Governor deSantis, Kari Lake, William Barr, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Rudolph Giuliani, Kevin McCarthy. And how many times have they had on Bernie Sanders, AOC, or Senator Sheldon Whitehouse.

I don't think we know how well read he was, day to day. He combed US media, UK... anything in print. Daily pre and post broadcast hours, I expect his show prep most days was a good nine or ten hours - and he still got in a round of golf most days. Somewhere in the Clinton years he gave up watching sunday shows, because video eats up too much of a valuable day. He would still comment or grab a soundclip where staff brought something interesting to his attention, and in some respect his hearing loss forced that discipline into effect. His cochlear implants were a miracle of sorts, and truly helped keep him on the air.

Shawn, one of the last predictions Rush made was how the left hates elections, and how one day they would seek to federalize them to bypass the electoral college. I want you to reflect on the following: I listened to Rush every day from 1991, until the day Katherine came on, and I knew....my dad left us when I was about 13, so Rush was a friend and father figure because dad's teach sons about life....I can debate anybody and win because I never missed a single program, example: his tv show had a clip of Herr Slickster, leaving Ron Brown funeral talking with Tony Campolo, he sees he camera and in one second switches from smiling/laughing, to a fake tear...truly hilarious...and that's WHY the left hates him, he "got" it, he knew exactly who they were, and exposed them using their own words, another example: his use of the "montage", when W. picked Cheney for veep, mockingbird media refrain "gravitas", repeated on every station by every talking head, proving prior coordination

Entertaining and informative. And that is what is missing with today's conservative hosts... who I like and respect. They inform us and interview people, but that is all. Give Dan Bongino a shot. I hear his sincerity and frequently laugh out loud at his humor. Some people compare him to Rush, and when they do, he refuses to accept such comparison, saying Rush will never be equalled, saying that he's incredibly fortunate to have been able to listen to Rush in years past, and take him as an example of how to treat his audience. He also credits Mark Levin and other predecessors.
