great review!! We stayed in a treehouse villa years and years ago. I'm sure i have pictures somewhere amongst the boxes of stuff we moved, but i haven't been able to find any as yet. The villas looked different back then, more modern looking and there was a lower floor with a winding staircase. That's how i remember it.
It's a very pretty room, I really like the idea of just being in the 'forest'. I still think the Polynesian Bungalows are my favorites but these are a great 2nd I think!
I lived here one summer whilst doing the international summer program.... they looked different with a spiral staircase down to a bedroom on ground level.
FWIW, I slept for 8 days on the couch/bed and it was fine - no issues. We had 8 people (5 kids, 3 families, 4 adults) and yes, very cramped for only 2 bathrooms especially. The second bedroom is right next to the bathroom - VERY noisy. The sounds of the horns from the boats were kind of loud - best to get one that isn't near the water. The long bus ride waits were the killer though - no bus goes to a resort, just to Saratoga Springs from where you have to catch another bus.
This is a really unique stay, but it does have its issues. We usually just did a resort stay when we stayed here because it was so time consuming to get a bus to go anywhere.
Awesome video you guys! Literally is amazing! This room changes my mind about the Wilderness Lodge 3 bedroom Villa. Can both of you tell the One night cost of the Treehouse and the Wilderness Lodge 3 bedroom Villa if you remember of course? And in the twin bedroom, I think you didn't noticed a hidden Mickey is it all down the window just to let you know!
These rooms are very different in size, with the Treehouse having a lot less space than any of the 3 bedrooms. The price of the treehouse (cash, not points) is about $1200 a night. The cost of the 3 bedroom at Copper Creek is roughly $2400 a night (cash, not points). If you're using points from your DVC membership or renting from others you could be paying anywhere from 25-50% off that price.
The Treehouses have a single bus stop that takes you to the Grandstand section of the Saratoga buildings. From there, you can take a bus to any of the parks.
@@kathyc7284 That's what I was thinking! On off-season it's not as horrible as others but I understand the cost factor is super extravagant unless you're pretty well off.
When we went down the river from POFQ I looked longingly at them. What kid inside all of us doesn't want to sleep in a treehouse?! I just wish I could find someone in our family to split the cost with us! There are only 3 of us.
That’s so true. It’s the kid in all of us. ❤️ Do a friends trip instead if you don’t have enough family members to come. We had lots of friends stay with us in this and played games all night. 🥳
This isn’t a yes or no question, so we wouldn’t be able to answer it quickly in a comment. We do have some videos coming out soon talking about DVC and explaining more about it, so keep an eye for those. Hope they help!
I like the treehouse villas. I do think if you don't really have room in a bathroom, don't put a tub in the shower. That's just weird. Although, a hot tub on the deck would be really nice. 😊
Thank you for the room tour. We’ve always thought how nice it would be to stay in one of those when we’ve gone by them on the boats. But I’m thinking there are other 3 bedrooms that have much more common area space. But don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t turn down a stay there.😉
They’re definitely not as spacious as other rooms. We prefer staying in 2 and 3 bedrooms personally, but we enjoyed how different this was from a “normal” room. 😊
Here With The Ears of course it’s all about the adventure of all the different resorts. Thank you both so very much for all that you all do to share your love and experiences of WDW and the resorts. ❤️
They're not usually super common but the shutdown has created an excess of points that aren't being used. We've found them on forums as well as in Facebook groups and through rental companies. Last year expiring points were usually $10-$12/point 60 days or less out. This year it's been even cheaper sometimes, but those are usually VERY last minute (like

Love that hidden Mickey table and the lamps!! 😀👍
Aren’t they awesome! We’re sure the Imagineers had fun with them. 😃
Plan on booking one in 240 days for my sons golden birthdays, which happen a month apart. First time going to treehouse, great video.
Have a great time! 😊
We loved staying there for Christmas 2015. Had a tree and made Christmas cookies. It was a great celebration. That twin bed was ultra-comfortable.
That sounds wonderful! So glad you had a great stay ❤️
Believe, Imagine, Hope and Dream are the names of the ships. I can’t wait to stay here again in December.

We’d love to stay here someday! But we say that about every other room on property! 😂
Haha! Totally understand! 😄
Haha, I do that too!
The treehouses are fantastic 👏. We would love to try these out one day!
They’re such a unique experience!

You're right. There is a hidden Mickey at the bottom of the window they missed.
That's nice
New subscriber here...love this tour...hope to stay here one day soon, but would like a river view better.
Hope you get to stay there!
We had a beautiful river view in # 7028.
Does this Resort have its own bus separate from Saratoga, or is it all one bus at multiple stops?
The Treehouses have a single bus stop that takes you to the Grandstand section of the Saratoga buildings. From there, you can take a bus to any of the parks.
Looks like a nice place to stay. Lets see, spend 1 night in the Treehouse Villa or pay my mortgage for 3 months .
lol
Wish I had your mortgage. Less than $400 a month. Not bad.

@@jenniferrundle6870 Exactly. I though the price was pretty good compared to the other deluxe villas.
Have you any insider info on whether these will get the refurb as well?
We were told these will not be part of the refurbishment
Here With The Ears great thanks for info as no one was sure.
The tree house is on my bucket list. At $1200 a night I'm going to have to sell a kidney.

Do you recommend joining the DVC? Is it very expensive?

Would an adult fit on the bunk bed? About 5'10" ?
Yes they could. We had friends over who slept in the bunk beds, and they were fine.
You missed the hidden Mickey in the room with the bunk beds it was in the bottom window.
Oops!

Do you have to be a DVC member to rent these?
No. You can pay for them through the Disney website as well.
G the best way for you guys for your time and you can make a good day for you to get together for dinner 🕌
Are you guys DVC members?
Yes, but we actually rented expiring points last-minute for this room. :)
@@HereWithTheEars how do you find expiring points?! How cheap can those go?

That's not a treehouse, just a house on stilts surrounded by trees.
