This race saw Max Verstappen lead from lights out and take his first win of the new year, while his teammate Sergio Perez came home in second completing a Red Bull 1-2. Fernando Alonso returned to the podium for Aston Martin for the 99th time in his career.

I remember the first two ridiculing and doubting his driving, now you praise him... at least they recognize how incredibly wrong they were back in the day...
And yet, "41 years for a good career choice", really now? Surely signing for Renault in 2002, McLaren in 2007 and Ferrari from 2010 to 2012 were actually good career choices, but punchable face here doesnt remember or doesnt want to stop the memes and digs.
Ferrari wasnt great, the car was fairly mediocre but Alonso just drove fantastically. Also 2007 McLaren, not a fantastic move for the world champ to move to a new team, and be matched in points by a rookie. Renault tho, yeah obviously was a good move.
What did they say about his driving?
Renault was the onnly move really that panned out really well for Alonso before this, Ferrari was a disaster of a car to drive, Mclaren we know what happened...
@@FaceFish9 He won races and fought for championships both in the Ferrari and the 07 McLaren, stop inventing.
@@Roguesquadroon Mclaren arguably ruined his career though with the partner he had, Ferrari car was shit, you can go back and listen to the interviews, the drivers hated it and it was not as fast as Alonso made it out to be... i'm not inventing you just have rose tinted glasses.
