I had an earlier version and while great, the “Bluetooth” on/off came on more than once by itself, usually at a terrifying 3am. Once your heart stops beating realizing it’s not someone breaking in, it’s a pretty good vacuum.
I thought about this and drilled a hole in the bottom of the trash cannister and used a plumbers valve (like you use to turn your water main on and off in a house) with a hose attached to simply drain the water out my garage door. So i can drain water without removing the collection bin. When the valve is closed, the cannister is obviously still air tight, so it does not affect dry vacuuming at all.
Thanks for sharing! I’ve been looking for something like this, and it looks like it’s probably a decent all-in-one option for some light home use. I have some questions & concerns though.. I’m really not into that collection tray. Any chance there’s a port or way to hook up a secondary container for dust/debris collection? Can the hose be replaced if it gets punctured/damaged/etc? I have two Giraffe units: The same wall mounted pressure washer you have and then a 1st gen hose reel. The pressure washer has been pretty good for me and some light use. The garden hose stopped locking when extending out after a few months of light use though. Was super disappointed with that. Originally got the hose to mount on my overland camping trailer, but I mounted it to the house first just to try it out and never got around to moving it before it stopped locking 😂
I’d loved to have this for my detail shop, but with daily use I’m afraid the motor will burn up. I can usually only get a year or so out of my vacuums.
did you mount those brackets to studs? Those brackets did not look great for studs. I would probably mount some plywood to the studs and mount the brackets on the piece of plywood.
I've been designing a product for a year and it takes just a bit of dyi.... If you want an awesome video - I'll send your way. It's for Model Y and Model Y - HW3 or 4.

Good video. Gen 2 - Needs a Water drain valve on the bottom. That pan full of water would be a nightmare to unclamp & carry.

That’s a nice vacuum and suits the garage
How is the suction level of this unit? Comparable to a shop vac?
Thank you. I've been waiting on someone to post this. I bought one mine should be here in a month
Great video! What are those white ceiling racks you have for storage? That's exactly what I've been looking for

My only concern is 6 months after I buy one they will come out with a better addition like they did the power washer
