Using handkerchief will solve the problem of using even one paper towel which usually everyone carries.
That's why i always carry two hanky 😂
Paper towels is mainly use by Western people.
And we indians follow them to become cool.
I do not prefer to follow Western culture generally.
How much are influenced by them you can check
we can't use handmade clothes/jute bag to carry things or product from market but we can use polly bags
We can't carry hanky for such use but we can use paper towels.
Even now a days most of the people use English comode at home and because of this reason we use tissue paper in home bathroom also.

English commode are good though especially if made with Japanese sensibility because my hand smells like shit after using the Indian ones and using bidet is heavenly it cleans the back without even touching it a bit which can't be done with Indian toilets 😅

i do it lil differently
i press the unfolded paper in between my hands to dry the inner part and after that i dry off the outer part with the same paper. and i also do shake out the dripping water before doing this.
But mostly i dont use any thing to dry my hands because i think they are already covered in dust.

I generally dab-dab my hands on the paper towel instead of wiping my hands with it because wiping can tear the paper easily. Using 1 paper towel is actually enough. I hate when people waste anything unnecessarily.
