UAW isn't about "pride", it is about extortion, about maximzing the task to fill the day, it is about "not doing today so you got something to do tomorrow", it is about never doign waht is right only doing what the union tells you, it is about paying into an extremely corrupt organization for the perception of security while they fleece their flock like Joel Olsteen fleeces his lemmings, it is about getting the really stupid to rally around with cute catch-phrases while the product and service provided declines, it is about demanding higher wages while lowering productivity and quality
@@slowery43 Hello. I had uncles who were UAW, and cousins who currently are UAW. I was in the auto svc industry for most of my adult life. (now in my 50's) Most recently a Svc. Mgr. at a G.M. dealership.
Unfortunately, You are correct. It's a bit sad that G.M., Ford and Dodge vehicles are not engineered and built to the same quality and high standards as most imports. Both Asian and European.
Even though I will never be able to afford a Ferrari, I certainly admire the craftsmanship, expertise, passion and pride that all Ferrari employees have. Best to You and Yours.

Indudablemente son una belleza, pero ya se vé poca artesanía y mucho robot. Los únicos aparatos que se fabrican, montan y pintan exclusivamente a mano son los aviones. Desde la primera a la última tuerca. Esas si son verdaderas obras de arte.
Aún así un Ferrari es un Ferrari.
Que tal Manuel. A diferencia de los aviones que tardan como 4 años fabricarse los Ferraris salen cada día de la línea s producción. Sería incosteable invertir en robots para ensamblar un avión. En cambio Lamborghini a diferencia de Ferrari, Lamborghini pinta algunos modelos a mano ya que se fabrica uno a uno y medio por día. Al igual que otros hipercalcars

Yo creo que la demanda y la presión por complacer a los clientes los ha obligado a usar máquinas. La verdad es que las robots son más precisos pero me siento más o menos igual, tengo sentimientos encontrados con eso de que ya parecen una fábrica de autos comunes y corrientes que se hacen por miles.

Awesome video I've always been fascinated with car manufacturing especially European not so much in America America is garbage they put profit over quality they build the car and then give it to the customer to bring it back to be repaired instead of taking care of the problem at the manufacturer when it's built American cars suck this is how it's done and you pay a premium price but it's worth it for quality
