I work here and can tell you, it's an awesome place. It does have a bit of a patina, but it's a beautiful place. It's our busiest of 7000+ hotels and if you can manage it, I strongly recommend a visit.
Love this resort. We are fortunate to get to go with my husbands company every year, for free😬😬😬I have never felt so pampered and relaxed. I feel truly blessed to be able to experience the JW Marriott on Marco. It really feels like paradise and a world away from real life❤
I stayed at the Marriott in Marco Island Florida one time for my first beach trip to Florida it was a good hotel but pretty pricey now that it’s jacked up due to inflation but hope you’ll enjoyed it

The best part? We booked a chickee hut one day (I highly recommend this!), and at one point we heard the 311 song “Amber” playing at the pool, so my family and I remembered your video and you singing that song :-). Jesus is funny!

I think I was here around 2010. Was this just a Marriott Resort Hotel before it changed over to J.W. Marriott?? ...Nonetheless, fantastic place to stay!!
I love it there and love this hotel and go there yearly but man with those prices they seriously need to renovate those rooms and parts of the exterior. The front is stunning and timeless when you first driver up with the fountains and landscaping. Absolutely breath taking, along with the massive lobby. Having said all that, once you go to the pools and you look at the backside of the buildings it just looks tired, old and drab. Has a real strong 80’s vibe. The railing bars on the balcony and the colors are dull. If they just changed some minor things they could really spruce it up. The rooms look dated too again to be clear for the price. If you’re spending a few hundred a night ok then no problem at all you cannot complain. But when you spend darn near a thousand plus dollars a night give or take you expect a little more. Anyway I absolutely love it there, just a critique.
We really enjoyed our time there. I do feel that they’ve done a great job of renovating it and keeping it up to date. I do know that it’s beyond our typical price range. We were fortunate to have my wife earn this as an incentive trip…so thankfully it didn’t cost us anything.
