I honestly don't blame idols for playing it safe bcs the amount of ppl ready to set the whole world on fire if they dare to be adults acting like adults showcasing normal human behavior is scary. I guess that's why a appreciate the ones that speak up for themselves and set boundaries very special. Lately more idols seem to be a little more carefree on how they act, that gives me hope that maybe the delusional stans will eventually get a slap of reality and stop with the insanity, but maybe that's being too hopeful (sorry if my english sucks lmao)

just learned about him and honestly from what i can tell his attitude is very refreshing and human? a lot of time idols and trainees have to walk around for eggshells (obviously) and its really interesting to see someone who just says shit and thinks later. say what u want but i feel like it makes him feel way more human and less like a product to sell to fans

i got really worried when i was looking into him recently because there were a bunch of people talking about him being problematic. watching the clips myself though and then further explanations, I really think it was the editing that turned his very likely humour into something more toxic. his confidence sounds cocky from time to time, yes, but honestly holding himself highly could easily be a front to hiding how he genuinely feels. he's probably trying to put on a front of acting like he doesn't care about what others say as a way of trying to protect himself. wonyoung did the same with her "you're you and i'm me".
