- Adulting with Joyce Pring Episode 240 (full episode):
Let’s talk about leveling up your life, without falling into the trap of lifestyle creep-spending more just because you’re earning more. In this episode, I’m sharing real tips and personal stories to help you stay on track with your goals, make SMART MOVES, and still enjoy life! I’ll answer:
What is lifestyle creep (and why should you care)?
How do I stick to my money goals?
How do I handle the pressure to “upgrade”?
What were my first investments?
How do I invest in myself and build my savings?
How can you treat yourself without the guilt?
What’s my advice for people who think they “deserve” to spend more when they earn more?
Big thanks to Sierra Valley Gardens by RLC Residences for sponsoring this episode!

Sharing based on experience is better than being an expert
Hmm but someone becomes expert thru experience?
Love you Joyce! I lost track of things because I got too overwhelmed with everything-hanging out with friends, eating out, and shopping almost every week. I saw your video again, and as always, you're such a great reminder. You’ve been that for me since the pandemic, and now I’m trying to get my life back on track and work toward my financial goals.
Thank you and keep it up!

im not good handling my finances, and i always do that, spending, eating out, getting good coffee and food, toys for my lil one-and etc! (because im confident that i have salary and income that’s coming) and something happened that I had to quit my job and remained unemployed for quite a bit (me and my husband) and reality hit me that i/we really have to save for rainy days.. it was really bad! hopefully now i can be much more wiser now.. thanks for this, i became emotional watching this!
