@@BeeTruthful yeah there’s usually a downstairs area where yhe girls hang out while waiting for clients. Or sometimes it’s an area clients go ‘shopping’ for a girl they like the looks of. Us bar girls were there to a) serve fake shots to the girls and b) make sure the clients didn’t get too drunk before going upstairs, to keep the girls safe. Would get so many offers form men to sleep with them, but we weren’t for sale (most of us anyway haha). I think of bar girls as the secret security for the working girls. Someone sober who is right amongst the clientele, without raising suspicion. The clients are always on their best behaviour infront of the Madame (bothel manager / owner), but not us. We would regularly text the madame info about clients, eg. ‘Bobs being a little weird, trying to get Annie very drunk’ and in that case someone would go stand outside the girls room just incase she had to yell out or press the safe button. Drunk men love to push their boundaries lol. Anyway, long answer you didn’t ask for! But people told me to share my tea haha
As a SAHM who’s confidence is small you girls make me feel empowered. Fun fact KATE, I learned working at a coffee stand that as long as I smiled and laughed I could say the meanest most outlandish things to men. They would be so confused because I was mean but smiling. Making them believe I’m flirting or joking. I recommend it around all the comedian men ❤❤❤

ayy im 22 and got sober when i was 20 :) was homeless in portland, sex for drugs, went to rehab six times, all the fun junky things. im in school now and in a different city. i was sooo against getting sober like i did not give a shit i genuinely did not think i could survive without drugs and it truly does suck at first when ur brain is trying to get back normal and ur only way to cope is suddenly gone but it really does get better and while i still miss drugs i have more important things in my life that im not willing to give up just to get high and im ok sober, which i never thought i would be. i only really got sober cuz i met a guy in rehab which they say is terrible to do but we’re still together two years later and having a baby 😅 idk what ur thing is, mines drugs my boyfriend is an alcoholic but it’s really all the same and i know getting sober is like the hardest thing in the fucking world to do
also it used to piss me the fuck off when people said it’s gets better with time and u’ve probably heard that a million times so sorry if that’s annoying 😅 it’s true tho and also finding things that are more important than the substance is key because u can’t just take it away and expect to be fine. idk it’s very hard i feel for u lol. if ur physically addicted tho, especially to alcohol or benzos don’t stop cold turkey that’s super dangerous u gotta go to detox where they can give help ween u off cuz u can die from alcohol withdrawal depending on how addicted u are. maybe u already know that haha sorry stay safe 💕
