This was so stunning -- all of it. I had a similar event a few years ago when my niece was married at her in-law's home on the beach in Westport, Connecticut. It was outside and inside and of course, just as the ceremony was about to start, it began to pour, but they had constructed an entire wedding facility on their back lawn going down to the water, so we all walked under protected awnings on elevated walkways and never got a drop of rain on us. Typical East Coast lavish wedding too, with the usual dinners and breakfasts. I picked up a Murano SUV at Newark Airport and even though Westport is about 60 miles away, it took us 4 hours to drive up the I-9 in traffic. Anyway, your cousins have flawless taste and the Knoxville home and town are breathtakingly beautiful. One of the dogs is a Yellow Lab just like our two who have now passed. We got both of them a ball that orby that lights up and they absolutely were bonkers over it. Good call! Thank you for taking us along! 😘

oh my gosh I got married at ocean house nearly ten years ago! I definitely recommend staying there sometime! it's all inclusive, and the food is actually good

I am so impressed how you honor your mom and family and genuinely enjoyed time with relatives who you hadn’t seen; I think it’s special and yet I’m not certain I’d always appreciate the importance of it myself. I love Knoxville and Market Square. We actually have a Tupelo Honey in Grand Rapids, MI. I live in Kalamazoo, but we’ve traveled to Knoxville several times. Last time we ate at Cafe 4, which is right across from Tupelo Honey. Also, I am a total fan of Detroit Metro Airport. So easy to get around and always clean. Glad you got your vlogging camera back! Your cousin’s house is beautiful, and all the pets and the kids…what a joy!

I have a lot of first cousins too like 37 my mother had 12 brothers & sisters. I’m #35 😆 and most of my cousins are still alive but two. It’s a lot of fun when we get together and it’s important now as we’re all getting older. I like that they did the traditional tea ceremony. How did I miss this vlog??!! Knoxville is only a little over an hour from where I live! Knoxville is where everyone goes to the “famous” University of Tennessee football 🏈 games! It looks like an enormous “sea of orange” when all the students, alumni and fans pack into Neyland Stadium 🏟️! Your cousin’s home is beautiful! We have many friends who lived in the New York area before retiring here. They were shocked at what type of home you could purchase for the amount of a much smaller home in the North. It’s not NYC but, as you know, it’s only a plane ✈️ ride away 😊❤

Enjoy first class!! Those big comfy seats are such a wonderful luxury 🥰
You can check out empty legs and maybe score a cheap flight. Make sure the plane has a cute interior, look at pics of the interior before you book. The bigger jets are often nicer than the 4 seaters.
It's an experience but nothing special, first class is great too. I could afford a 30min flight on an empty leg so it was over before I knew it.
