I've seen this run three times, once live on stream, once on librarian's channel, and now once again on the main, and it's still crazy to me how this build turned out.
It's been a while since I've laughed as hard as when he sold the Pufferfish out of spite and with zero words. Love the egg.

Getting to see the full run is amazing, I was about to go scavenge the VODS for it!

seeing the option to gain crit chance as damage and the instantly being followed up with a crit enchant is crazy
I haven’t played, but isn’t the crit to damage mid on slower burst stuff? It’s like, what, 300 damage on an item doing 6k, no?
@@jordanleighton6893 He was completely correct to not take Buckle there. Buckle is busted on fast attacking small items that normally have lower base dmg or multicast weapons like cutlass. It's wildly mediocre on a slow big hit weapon like Langxian.

This has gotta be the luckiest run ever. Bro faced every possible opponent that his build beat in the back half of the run. The way he ignored the mosquito, as if CD reduction on long john day 2 wasn’t the only focus. Then he frame 1 sells the jet pack on day 3. If he faced any burst builds or anyone with some mild freeze/slow effects, he was so cooked.
My one and only ranked 10piece so far was a Langxian + Trebuchet run that went off the rails with the boss skill that gives lifesteal.
Fortune truly favors the bald.
As a youtube only watcher, i feel like ive seen exactly three recordings of this game but so many banger videos.

@@eewweeppkkyou just have to heavily invest in shielding. Also you can still get *some* max hp, just less than your opponents. I just find it funny that that's literally the first thing he did after buying it.
Or you can just not take the skill if you aren't gonna use it.

Skill triggers based off current health, so if NL falls below enemy's health, Langxian's cooldown goes down and he gets it a bit faster. His Langxian was doing so much damage by that point that there was no outsustaining it, so the only real threat to him was someone who could kill him before he got enough Langxian procs off. Against anyone who let him keep his health higher there was no need to have that cooldown reduction (since that means his Langxian is gonna go off anyway).
That’s true he should have also lost all his pve encounters so he didn’t level and scale his HP /s
@@ruroruro If he has 1020 hp and his opponent has 1000 then after a single weapon goes off from his opponent his cooldowns get reduced. This skill is one that you don't have to think about whatsoever - it just makes your weapons go faster most of the time.
It is kinda funny that he immediately got more max hp after getting the skill, sure, but to ignore getting that hp is to severely overcorrect for a minor bonus that will kick in regardless - its like in STS building your entire rest of your run after a mediocre first card or something.
48:44 the skills have rarities just like the items. Getting the gold berserker there would've upgraded yours to diamond.
When that's happening, don't you usually see the upgraded version of the skill in the shop, with an indication of what the upgrade changes? Like: "Large weapons do 12 > 24 more damage" and if you currently have the gold version of the skill, the shop option will be the diamond version? I thought that was the confusion there.

This saga really does remind me of Jesus (Egg) being tempted by Satan (Chatters) to commit sin (Sell Long John). Truly a tale for the ages that shows how devout (Stubborn) Jesus Egg truly is to good (Long Johns).
