I grew up a catholic which i was taught the Bible all the prayers etc but I never understood anything they talked about. When I was 12 I went to a non denominational church and that’s when I gave my life to Jesus. After straying from God many times at 21, a young mom of two I’ve finally been born again and it took so long to realize it’s a relationship with Christ not about a church. God is good he’s changed me. Like ray said it’s not about acting good for God it’s God making you a changed person who does good.
I do hope you rethink Catholicism. I'm glad you were able to open your heart to Jesus thanks to our non-denom brothers and sisters, but it's only in the Catholic church that you find the fullness of the truth.

I grew up Catholic and Jesus mercifully put his word into my hands and I began to read with the help of the Holy Spirit. I was very surprised by how different the word of God was compared to Catholicism and I became a born again Christian " to the praise of his glorious grace."

I just wanted to share that October 31 was a great day. We had lots of our neighbors come by our house and we gave out lots of the million dollar tracts. I’m praying that at least one of these tracts will fall on a humble heart and God uses it for His glory!

The way to accomplish that is to learn by obeying 2 Tim. 2:15 - Study. Stay in the Word using a KJV and that one because it is always the same... never changes which can cause confulsion.
Just keeping watching Rays videos .. I watch one or two every night before I go to sleep ... have for almost two years now. I use his methods and some of my own tools as well... but I use his tools to get the ball rolling. Just keep watching Ray Comfort and listening to John McArthur, RC Sproul Charles Spurgeon, and people like them. You will learn lots and be used of the Lord when you open your mouth and speak when people say things that open up the door. Or just say something to people around you. Create opportunities. Do some study, learn and speak. Nothing better than talking to people about the Lord and presenting the gospel.. these are things that bless for time and eternity!

I just lost my aunt to cancer, she was catholic, the majority of my family is... I had sent her multiple, multiple, multiple, scriptures on salvation. My family would read them to her every time they would go to the hospital. We lost her Saturday, May 22, 2021. My family does believe in God and I have been sharing the gospel with them as much as I can. I beg to God this morning to take her to heaven, we knew it was time to let it go. I pray every passage would read and understand this beautiful passage: "Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous." (Romans 5:18-19) It's all about the righteousness that Jesus imputes to us when we believe in him, not any righteous deeds we can do.

Ray what a small world, I went to my grand mothers house today and she mentioned the nice printer gentleman next door passed away. My grandmother lives next downtown next to the place of business and her other neighbor a single mother of two works for him and showed me his obituary. I said, “ Wait a minute! I think Ray Comfort just spoke about him in his latest video.” And it was the same gentleman!! He sounded like such an amazing person. As a Father of a son 18 and a daughter 20 I can understand what a gut punch that would be. Satan has hit our world with a curveball in the Liberal Media, Teachers, College Professors, Social Media, music, TV and more. I am a broken record when it comes to pointing out the hypocrisy in the media, teachers, professors, music, TV when my kids are around. My line that I use most often is that “God Doesn’t Make Mistakes” he has one plan for us and Satan wants to turn that plan upside down and backwards. Sexual desire is a choice, just like choosing to say loyal to your spouse. It’s very easy to be attracted to another woman and let my mind run away with itself. Just like everyone else we have to restrain those desires. We live in a “if it feels good then do it” and a “Not my fault”world. Just keep pointing that out and keep Praying, I will remember you and your daughter in my Prayers.

Where is the reasoning to support that works are necessary (following what the Catholic Church says, among other things) to get into Heaven? Ephesians 2:8-9 says that you are saved by God's grace through faith, not by your works, because salvation is a gift from God. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

I never understood why people thought that they needed to confess to a priest to reach God's ear. We don't! As soon as I realize that I've committed yet another sin, I ask for forgiveness right away, one on one with my Lord, no mediator required!
Well Vickie, if you really thought about it, you would realize that 'people' think they need to confess to a priest because they have been taught that with fear of hell or pugatory since they were seven years old. So we need to pray for their release from bondage as happened to me. As for you: your also are a victim of religion because you have not learned what God teaches in his Word rightly divided (2 Tim. 2:15). If you are saved, God has already forgiven you. I don't think so, in catholic tradition you're born again at baptism and christmation in the East, confirmation in the west. The conundrum for Ray is, if I'm born again and then I sin again, then what? I have to be born again again?

So yes Catholics are born again. we baptize infants because it is biblical and traditional. As long as Jesus died on the cross his blood will cover me and I am saved, as long as I have faith in him. well it’s impossible to be cognitively aware of anything while you’re in a coma. Same when you’re sleeping. So if I died in my sleep or in a coma, would I still go to heaven?

My temporary state of mind (ie being asleep) has no bearing on whether I’m going to heaven. MLK advocated for justification by faith (I cannot do anything to “deserve” heaven), but it also presupposes that, as the Holy Spirit now indwells that person, good fruit/good deeds will naturally manifest. It’s just important that we’re not counting on our own good efforts to hope to gain redemption (or offset past wrongs) in God’s eyes.

Catholics sadly do many things that are not biblical. Jesus IS our High Priest & we are to confess our sins before Him ALONE. Jesus Himself is the mediator between Father God & us, so no need for a human "priest" or anyone else to stand before us & Father God. When Jesus died the veil to the Holy of Holies was rent(torn) from top to bottom & that means we ALL can enter in unafraid to the Holy of Holies were Jesus is & confess our sins, be washed in His blood & be forgiven, born again & on our way to Heaven. Thank God for my brother Ray telling God's truth to so many.
I bought some of those Four Gospels books. I have a brother in law and his step son who are seeking. I have had a couple of opportunities to witness to them and gave one of the booklets to Danny, my brother in law....he also has a friend who has been sharing the Gospel with him....so he knows that God is "poking" him. What a wonderful blessing it has been to witness to someone who actually wants to hear what I have to say about Jesus ! Thank you for making these booklets available at such a reasonable cost ! What happens if the priest forgets one of the sins you confess to? That's just one reason we should and are allowed to pray directly to God ourselves. Cut out the middle MAN and go straight to the SOURCE. JESUS CHRIST

Priests or preachers aren't performing miracles today and not one of us needs one of them to get to heaven. We don't need them to pray for us at all. Jesus taught us how to pray at the sermon on the mount. He said nothing about having someone else pray for us, he said nothing about praying to Mary. I'm sure you remember how the prayer starts. OUR FATHER WHICH ARE IN HEAVEN.........I don't have enough trust in any other human to relay what's in my heart and mind to God. Like I said, what if he forgets one sin you're asking for forgiveness from and you go through life thinking you've been forgiven for it to find out you weren't? Not a risk I'm willing to take to just keep "church tradition". He also told us not to pray to dead people. Mary is dead in a grave just like my grandma is. My grandma can't help me now no more than Moses or Mary can. Jesus said if a man comes preaching a different Gospel than Him that man is a false prophet. My advice to anyone confused about what to do is to READ YOUR BIBLE and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to them. He will never guide you in the wrong direction

I learn quite a bit from Ray's sharing. We need to choose Jesus. Currently, I'm only giving money on my channel, but I hope to soon start giving out the gospel. I published a video where the person could choose either cash or a box that said, "...with God all things are possible." I'm glad they all chose the box.

The real one is that some churches had some books others had another, most of the teaching was oral, many books could have been in but didn't, is not the RCC is the true church, the RCC is a thing from tenth century when it split from the Eastern Churches. Also there are many books that are really important and not read because of the canon by protestants, but that the Romans and orthodox use profusely, like Enoch, the Didache, Barnabas etc.. also all the writings of the Fathers pre, post nicene. Read the Didache it will help ;)
@@digitalsublime All of the books of the New Testament were in writing by 95AD. The Apocryphal books are not inspired Scripture....and that is easy to see. The writings of the early church Fathers are not inspired. It wasn't until the early 5th century for many of the early church Fathers to walk away from premillennial chiliasm. Why did they finally reject chiliasm? Because the sources were extra-biblical, Jewish writings that were anti-Christian. Premillennialism didn't reappear until the early 19th century with dispensational John Nelson Darby.

This man was so humble and kind and receptive. He MUST get himself free of the Catholic Church and all of the demands they put on his soul and salvation...just to get to PURGATORY(which is not even Biblical). I have had 3 members of my family molested by Catholic Priests, so I don't think highly of their "men's traditions." Confess to GOD, the Father...in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
Amen! I wasn't brought up in the church, only sent a few times to one to basically be baby-sat with a bunch of other little kiddies. It was brief, however, I learned of His love. As I grew up, life on my own, sinning, in sin, in the world's cult-ure, I was pretty miserable. I had married a Roman Catholic thinking he was what I was looking for and he was/is so lost! My marriage imploded. G-d used the division for good. I was broken, remolded, honed, and He continues, with a bit of polishing from time to time. It has been the best, all because a neighbor I had met shared her Bible study information with me. It was a Bible study of born again Catholics! I had no idea how rare that is, charismatic yet! I was lead, and saved, gifts of the spirit, the whole sha-bang! There is nothing, NOTHING better then a personal relationship with the living G-d, Jesus the Christ! This is the peace and freedom life was meant to have for all of us! He teaches me moment by moment, leads me in His will for my life and His purpose. He has been the best thing ever in/for my life! He Rocks! What I thought was going to make me happy in life wasn't even close to the joy I have now with my Lord. This is 'it'! 'It's' Not of this world! Humbled, grateful, blessed! Thank you Ray for your faithfulness to G-d, for an 'unreach people'! 💌
I just had a witnessing encounter using wotm listening to Ray now I'm glad to hear that he sometimes has an edge to his questions. I just wish I had his light heartedness also. I need a little more lightheartedness in my voice when witnessing.
Can you explain how do you define being born again? If someone reads the Bible, and after many years of searching for God, suddenly has a moment of epiphany while reading the word, he feels the presence of the Holy Ghost, he renounces the world and accepts Jesus Christ, personally, and repents about his old sinner self... does that qualify as being born again?
God does not have a phone. I still talk to Him. He does not have twitter, but I still follow Him. He does not have Facebook, we are friends though. He does not have google but I look up to Him. God is great!!!

I grew up a catholic which i was taught the Bible all the prayers etc but I never understood anything they talked about. When I was 12 I went to a non denominational church and that’s when I gave my life to Jesus. After straying from God many times at 21, a young mom of two I’ve finally been born again and it took so long to realize it’s a relationship with Christ not about a church. God is good he’s changed me. Like ray said it’s not about acting good for God it’s God making you a changed person who does good.
I do hope you rethink Catholicism. I'm glad you were able to open your heart to Jesus thanks to our non-denom brothers and sisters, but it's only in the Catholic church that you find the fullness of the truth.

I just wanted to share that October 31 was a great day. We had lots of our neighbors come by our house and we gave out lots of the million dollar tracts. I’m praying that at least one of these tracts will fall on a humble heart and God uses it for His glory!

The way to accomplish that is to learn by obeying 2 Tim. 2:15 - Study. Stay in the Word using a KJV and that one because it is always the same... never changes which can cause confulsion.
Just keeping watching Rays videos .. I watch one or two every night before I go to sleep ... have for almost two years now. I use his methods and some of my own tools as well... but I use his tools to get the ball rolling. Just keep watching Ray Comfort and listening to John McArthur, RC Sproul Charles Spurgeon, and people like them. You will learn lots and be used of the Lord when you open your mouth and speak when people say things that open up the door. Or just say something to people around you. Create opportunities. Do some study, learn and speak. Nothing better than talking to people about the Lord and presenting the gospel.. these are things that bless for time and eternity!
Remember that God would have been content with Moses as the speaker, it was only at Moses’s objection that Aaron was brought on! God will give you strength!

I just lost my aunt to cancer, she was catholic, the majority of my family is... I had sent her multiple, multiple, multiple, scriptures on salvation. My family would read them to her every time they would go to the hospital. We lost her Saturday, May 22, 2021. My family does believe in God and I have been sharing the gospel with them as much as I can. I beg to God this morning to take her to heaven, we knew it was time to let it go. Please have us in your prayers

I pray every passage would read and understand this beautiful passage: "Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous." (Romans 5:18-19)
It's all about the righteousness that Jesus imputes to us when we believe in him, not any righteous deeds we can do.

That's what the animals represented. You couldnt ask or get forgiveness unless you sacrificed them. Jesus became the human sacrifice that would cancel all the animal sacrifices that was initially used.
We broke the law. Jesus paid the fine.

Ray what a small world, I went to my grand mothers house today and she mentioned the nice printer gentleman next door passed away. My grandmother lives next downtown next to the place of business and her other neighbor a single mother of two works for him and showed me his obituary. I said, “ Wait a minute! I think Ray Comfort just spoke about him in his latest video.” And it was the same gentleman!! He sounded like such an amazing person. As a Father of a son 18 and a daughter 20 I can understand what a gut punch that would be. Satan has hit our world with a curveball in the Liberal Media, Teachers, College Professors, Social Media, music, TV and more. I am a broken record when it comes to pointing out the hypocrisy in the media, teachers, professors, music, TV when my kids are around. My line that I use most often is that “God Doesn’t Make Mistakes” he has one plan for us and Satan wants to turn that plan upside down and backwards. Sexual desire is a choice, just like choosing to say loyal to your spouse. It’s very easy to be attracted to another woman and let my mind run away with itself. Just like everyone else we have to restrain those desires. We live in a “if it feels good then do it” and a “Not my fault”world. Just keep pointing that out and keep Praying, I will remember you and your daughter in my Prayers.

Where is the reasoning to support that works are necessary (following what the Catholic Church says, among other things) to get into Heaven? Ephesians 2:8-9 says that you are saved by God's grace through faith, not by your works, because salvation is a gift from God. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

I never understood why people thought that they needed to confess to a priest to reach God's ear. We don't! As soon as I realize that I've committed yet another sin, I ask for forgiveness right away, one on one with my Lord, no mediator required!
Well Vickie, if you really thought about it, you would realize that 'people' think they need to confess to a priest because they have been taught that with fear of hell or pugatory since they were seven years old. So we need to pray for their release from bondage as happened to me. As for you: your also are a victim of religion because you have not learned what God teaches in his Word rightly divided (2 Tim. 2:15). If you are saved, God has already forgiven you. No Catholics are born again. The term "born again" was synonymous with baptism to early Christians. That really didn't change until the time of the pietists in the 17th century. So yes Catholics are born again. we baptize infants because it is biblical and traditional. While you are in a coma? One of the Two Pillars of the Protestant Reformation (Revolution) is faith alone. As long as Jesus died on the cross his blood will cover me and I am saved, as long as I have faith in him. well it’s impossible to be cognitively aware of anything while you’re in a coma. Same when you’re sleeping. So if I died in my sleep or in a coma, would I still go to heaven?

MLK advocated for justification by faith (I cannot do anything to “deserve” heaven), but it also presupposes that, as the Holy Spirit now indwells that person, good fruit/good deeds will naturally manifest. It’s just important that we’re not counting on our own good efforts to hope to gain redemption (or offset past wrongs) in God’s eyes.

Catholics sadly do many things that are not biblical. Jesus IS our High Priest & we are to confess our sins before Him ALONE. Jesus Himself is the mediator between Father God & us, so no need for a human "priest" or anyone else to stand before us & Father God.
When Jesus died the veil to the Holy of Holies was rent(torn) from top to bottom & that means we ALL can enter in unafraid to the Holy of Holies were Jesus is & confess our sins, be washed in His blood & be forgiven, born again & on our way to Heaven.

I bought some of those Four Gospels books. I have a brother in law and his step son who are seeking. I have had a couple of opportunities to witness to them and gave one of the booklets to Danny, my brother in law....he also has a friend who has been sharing the Gospel with him....so he knows that God is "poking" him. What a wonderful blessing it has been to witness to someone who actually wants to hear what I have to say about Jesus ! Thank you for making these booklets available at such a reasonable cost ! I pray for more opportunities....as my whole family is lost and I so want them to enter into the Kingdom of God and be with me in eternity ! What happens if the priest forgets one of the sins you confess to? That's just one reason we should and are allowed to pray directly to God ourselves. Cut out the middle MAN and go straight to the SOURCE. JESUS CHRIST

Priests or preachers aren't performing miracles today and not one of us needs one of them to get to heaven. We don't need them to pray for us at all. Jesus taught us how to pray at the sermon on the mount. He said nothing about having someone else pray for us, he said nothing about praying to Mary. I'm sure you remember how the prayer starts. OUR FATHER WHICH ARE IN HEAVEN.........I don't have enough trust in any other human to relay what's in my heart and mind to God. Like I said, what if he forgets one sin you're asking for forgiveness from and you go through life thinking you've been forgiven for it to find out you weren't? Not a risk I'm willing to take to just keep "church tradition". He also told us not to pray to dead people. Mary is dead in a grave just like my grandma is. My grandma can't help me now no more than Moses or Mary can. Jesus said if a man comes preaching a different Gospel than Him that man is a false prophet. My advice to anyone confused about what to do is to READ YOUR BIBLE and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to them. He will never guide you in the wrong direction

I learn quite a bit from Ray's sharing. We need to choose Jesus. Currently, I'm only giving money on my channel, but I hope to soon start giving out the gospel. I published a video where the person could choose either cash or a box that said, "...with God all things are possible." I'm glad they all chose the box.

The RCC didn't " give us the Bible".......The RCC acknowledged what had already been for many years the books believers read as inspired Scripture.

The real one is that some churches had some books others had another, most of the teaching was oral, many books could have been in but didn't, is not the RCC is the true church, the RCC is a thing from tenth century when it split from the Eastern Churches.
Also there are many books that are really important and not read because of the canon by protestants, but that the Romans and orthodox use profusely, like Enoch, the Didache, Barnabas etc.. also all the writings of the Fathers pre, post nicene. Read the Didache it will help ;)
@@digitalsublime All of the books of the New Testament were in writing by 95AD. The Apocryphal books are not inspired Scripture....and that is easy to see. The writings of the early church Fathers are not inspired. It wasn't until the early 5th century for many of the early church Fathers to walk away from premillennial chiliasm. Why did they finally reject chiliasm? Because the sources were extra-biblical, Jewish writings that were anti-Christian. Premillennialism didn't reappear until the early 19th century with dispensational John Nelson Darby.

@@digitalsublime The Book of Revelation was written between 90-95 AD. Yes, canon is based on the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit inspired both the Old Testament and the New Testament is the same way. You don't even know how the Jews determined their canon? It had to be written down.
Jesus is the cornerstone of His church and the teachings of His Apostles are what He has built His church on. It is the succession of Apostolic TEACHING.......the Apostles all died. The medieval RCC wasn't teaching the Bible. Grace is the unmerited favor of God.......not a medicinal substance that is infused and must be co-operated with. Nature isn't to be perfected......Nature is renewed. Tradition in the New Testament is the tradition of the elders.....the oral tradition of the Pharisees. This oral tradition is the Babylonian Talmud. The Orthodox Jews of today follow that exact same Talmud.

This man was so humble and kind and receptive. Amen! I wasn't brought up in the church, only sent a few times to one to basically be baby-sat with a bunch of other little kiddies. It was brief, however, I learned of His love. As I grew up, life on my own, sinning, in sin, in the world's cult-ure, I was pretty miserable. I had married a Roman Catholic thinking he was what I was looking for and he was/is so lost! My marriage imploded. G-d used the division for good. I was broken, remolded, honed, and He continues, with a bit of polishing from time to time. It has been the best, all because a neighbor I had met shared her Bible study information with me. It was a Bible study of born again Catholics! I had no idea how rare that is, charismatic yet! I was lead, and saved, gifts of the spirit, the whole sha-bang! There is nothing, NOTHING better then a personal relationship with the living G-d, Jesus the Christ! This is the peace and freedom life was meant to have for all of us! He teaches me moment by moment, leads me in His will for my life and His purpose. He has been the best thing ever in/for my life! He Rocks! What I thought was going to make me happy in life wasn't even close to the joy I have now with my Lord. This is 'it'! 'It's' Not of this world! Humbled, grateful, blessed!

Can you explain how do you define being born again? If someone reads the Bible, and after many years of searching for God, suddenly has a moment of epiphany while reading the word, he feels the presence of the Holy Ghost, he renounces the world and accepts Jesus Christ, personally, and repents about his old sinner self... does that qualify as being born again?
