Just picked mine up, awaiting the first snow! Everyone should be aware that there is NO WARRANTY if you purchase EGO products from a non-authorized vendor like Amazon third party, Ebay or Walmart. Lowes, Ace Hardware, Shipped and Sold by Amazon and very few others like Cutler's and RCPW are the only authorized EGO dealers. I have had a few batteries go south, the new 765 blower and a trimmer. All purchased from Authorized dealers and registered. Less than 20 min on the phone with support and they sent brand new tools/batteries to me. Absolutely worth it to spend a few more bucks and a few minutes to register the tools.
Can you believe this? I ordered my kit yesterday and it arrived at 1PM today by FedEx. I was a little sad this morning when I was searching, I found one that also has the louvers PLUS on wheels for GRAVEL which I am on! It is packed but still would like wheels.
THANK you SO MUCH! 👍👍Now that winter is coming, I have been wearing myself out trying to find a Sno Shovel. THAT EXCEEDS ALL from what I have seen so far. SO HAPPY I checked in here!
PHEW! I had the surprise of my life. I could NOT get the two together. I even thought if I could spread the slit in the stem with a screwdriver as I was pushing, it would slide in. Would not spread cause material too hard. So, as I was looking the connection over, inadvertently, I turned the spindle that was sticking out. When I tried to slide the two together again, they went together so smoothly, and I heard a click when snug. Then I tightened the turn key and all is well! NOW for snow to try it out.🌧👌
Got a tip, when mating the attachment to the head unit, spin the trimmer head, broom or snow paddle and it will align the splines on the shaft.warning do not power the unit when aligning the splines.
Another good EGO product and obviously “Brooklyn-approved.” Just got mine at Lowe’s and hate to say this but I’m excited for a snow trial. So I can say, “Got ‘er done!”
This looks perfect for a dusting or small amount of snow. Sometimes I don’t like using the big ego 2 stage on a dusting or a inch or so but also don’t want it turning to ice so this looks perfect for light work
I am with the one that came out last year with the peak 650 mph and it works pretty well. Once I finish snow blowing I use the leaf blower to clean off the walks, around the doors and the car. I live in Michigan by the way
