When an iron chin met a lion's heart; how Minter stayed on his feet in the ninth and fifteenth - how Finnegan carried on with three cuts distributed about both eyes. The tremendous engines both men must have had to fight fifteen rounds at such a pace. This is some of the best of British boxing ever captured on camera.
Class acts both of them ,giants of the 70s
Two ultimate warriors that deserved the respect of all fight fans. RIP Champions.
Thanks for uploading this both great fighters RIP
R.I.P. Alan Minter and R.I.P. Kevin Finnegan !!!

Alan was a great fighter and sportsman, my favourite British fighter of the time,
Keven was a cagey old school fighter younger brother of Chris.
RIP Alan Minter my childhood hero and the reason why i took up boxing
Jeez thosec15 rounders were brutal!
I remember Minter saying that he never understood how Kevin Finnegan had such stamina, as he smoked heavily and enjoyed a drink too.
Some guy's are just freaks. Eamonn Magee & Carlos Monzon were chain smokers too
Thanks for the upload.. The Three Minter/ Finnegan fights were all very close bruising encounters.
I thought they only fought twice
What warriors compared with today
Both were class operators.
The great marvin hagler said finnegan was the hardest he fought...says it all eh ?
Minter later said that he thought Kevin won all their fights.
RIP Alan Minter
and R.i.P Lou Duva!!
Would love to see Minter v Finnegan 3 and Minter v Tonna 2
Would love to see Finnegan vs Hagler 1&2
