What a great update! I absolutely love your vlogs and was excited to see this one was longer than normal! I start my FET cycle in July and your videos make me so hopeful. Keep them coming! 😊
I love these updates! I look forward to them each week! ❤️
Also, I just love the piano music you have playing during these updates. Seriously, when the video starts and I hear it my eyes well up with happy tears!! I'm so glad I discovered y'all's channel! (I happened to find it because of a post Brad made on ODs + Dave Ramsey ☺️) I am so excited for y'all and praying for y'all!
Congrats on the bump! I had taken a little break watching UA-cam videos because of our loss and it was hard. But now I'm feeling better and it's nice to see that your babies are growing and that you're doing quite well. 💗
I'm so happy for you guys!
It's so amazing how much you love your kids even way before they are here, then when you get to see them for the first time it's a mind blowing feeling you guys are going to be GREAT parents
Aww, can't wait for that!! Thank you!
Congrats to you guys !! I am 15 weeks pregnant with identical twins !! ❤️
I am so happy you found that book. I literally think that book is the reason for my very uneventful twin pregnancy! I followed everything including weight gain. I gained a total of 46lbs and I exercised daily, ate the right foods and I walked into my 36 week appointment crying, begging for them to induce me because I was so stretched and uncomfortable but they were not going to come on their own. My girls came home with my at 37+1 no NICU time. Watching your journey is so beautiful. Brings me back to all the infertility emotions. I'm pretty sure I cried in every one of my weekly vlogs, ha! Keep up the great work mama!
I love watching your vlogs! You are so incredibly joyful and it is sooooo encouraging!! Praying for you guys as you enter this new stage of your lives!!!
Aww, thank you!!
So happy for you both! Congrats and looking forward to following your baby journey! 👶🏻👶🏻 You guys are such a cute couple. Enjoy this wonderful time.
Thank you!!
That's a great book. It was so helpful. I would also recommend finding a parents of multiples club. They are a good resource too. To be able to talk to other parents who have multiples is very helpful!
So happy for you! 😍
Rachel your eyes look so green in this video!!
Pray for you all every night. Keep eating whatever tastes good!
Your face says it all! So happy for the both of you! Have a great day!
Thank you!
I made a post on your Instagram. I am a twin mom to 4 month old boys. Congrats of your babies💙💙 They're a joy!
It wasn't long! I love watching your journey. Such a sweet couple!
Aw, thank you Tracey!
I completely relate! I'm 15 weeks with just one baby and I've been so sick! I know what you mean about wanting to eat something and then by the time it's prepared hating the thought of it! I've had my husband help me by making my meals for me and not being around the food until right before I eat it has helped a lot actually! Hopefully you'll feel better soon and congrats on gaining weight! It's been a challenge for me as well!
Good idea having your husband make it! Here's to hoping we feel MUCH better soon!
You look great!! I had such an aversion to coffee in the beginning too! I am so happy I can finally drink it again! it has been a life saver in my third trimester. I hope your bad days start to fade for you!! :)
Aww, thank you!! Yes, I miss my coffee!!
I'm so excited to follow and watch you guys journey! Such a beautiful, fun and sweet couple! I am 3 weeks behind you with my rainbow baby so we will be growing together!
Ahh, how fun! Congratulations! Hope you're feeling well :)
awww thank you! 7 and a half weeks today so nope not feeling too good, the nausea hit me hard this week! lol but it will be worth it! 😄
You will be a great mama.... I understand your feelings; I lost two babies before I had a pregnancy that went to term with a healthy baby boy; I was so "beyond" thrilled !!!
Thank you! Congratulations on your baby boy!!
So happy for u guys
If I'd had read that book I would have been a wreck. I lost 25#'s in the first 5 1/2 months and only gained 19 of that back. It's the only time I've felt like being a little overweight to start was a good thing. Your journey to babies is inspiring. I hope other's in the same boat as you all find your vlogs.
when I was pregnant with my daughter, I was sick the whole pregnancy including delivery. snacking helps, always keep a granola bar or two in your purse and bedside table, also I would also make smoothies with veggies. I was very turned off veggies and meats my whole pregnancy.
Not pregnant but I suffer from sciatica it hurts so so bad. Praying for you and the babies.
Glad you held it together because I didn't 😂😭 I see the little bump :) So excited to gender guess on your next ultrasound! I keep telling my doctor to pick the pink ones 😂🤷🏻♀️Still haven't heard from mine yet on fertilization, I'm going crazy!!
If you haven't already started putting a lotion or moisture on your tummy and hips may want to soon. one baby did a number on me. when I had my daughter no one told me what could happen. love seeing the updates. take care.
It's a bump! You look great Rachel! I just had my first ultrasound and we got to see the babies heart beat :). It was amazing and emotional.
One question to ask the OB is about recommended vaccines for both mom and dad. I know the whooping cough is high recommend.
will do! Thanks!
Just wait until you feel your first flutter! The love is profound! Any kick I got was heaven for me!
Make sure you ask about signs of preeclampsia. This is important!
I love watching your vlogs! So much joy from both of you! How far along will you be when you find out the genders? Will you be revealing them on here? So excited for you!
Thank you! I'm thinking I'll find out around 16 weeks (hopefully), so mid-August. And yes, we will do a special announcement Vlog!!
Yay! Can't wait to see!
My name is Aline and my heart skipped a beat around 9:10 😂 Not many people have a name like that. It’s really cool to see other people with a similar name. :)
I'm so excited for you both! Y'all will be wonderful parents!
This may be a silly question, but do you know if they are fraternal or identical twins?
Not a silly question! They're fraternal :)
Brad and Rach that's what I was thinking since y'all had conception through your IVF transfer. How exciting!
(I didn't know if it was possible or not to have identical twins in the same sac thru an IVF pregnancy.)
I'm 10 weeks pregnant but I didn't have an appointment with the midwife yet, I will in a few days, but I won't get an ultrasound yet. This is my first pregnancy and my belly is a bit bigger than yours, and since there were twins in my family record I was wondering if it could be possible I might be carrying 2, I'm so excited I can't wait to know
Can you start doing a bump shot with shirt on when you get bigger?
I love watching your updates, I'm currently 10+4 and due on January 21st with my IVF baby 👶🏼 I just have the one in there though!! x
Congratulations!! That's technically my due date too!! Did you transfer around May 5th?
Ooo so you'll probably have your babies early January? Yes my transfer was 6th May, baby was measuring a day ahead at my scan so I was initially due on the 22nd x
So funny because coffee was the only thing that made me nauseous when I was pregnant. I was never, ever nauseous or sick except when I smelled coffee.
Y'all have already been through early development so typical first appt questions may not apply. Ask about ANYTHING others have warned you to do/not do. I'm sure you've gotten advice by now 😆 See what is true and what is false directly from your doctor. Also, spend some time focusing on doctor themselves. You have to build a professional relationship with this person, but honestly, you're trusting your life and these precious babies to him/her! I was so caught up with questions that I forgot to actually build that doctor/patient relationship. By the end of my pregnancy, she was making medical decisions and I had to trust her... which I learned to do! She actually made a comment about learning me so she could better treat me.
I see the bump btw! So exciting!
Oh and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a belly cast.. How awesome would it be to have that with your very first pregnancy with TWINS lol
crystal sparks I saw one of those with babies in for newborn pictures
As a mother of 4.. If you haven't started already start really using like coconut oil or something now.. And have you also tried protein bars some of them can be kinda yuckie.. Maybe you can find a good recipe on how to make your own with maybe peanut butter. And I'm also gonna guess your having a boy and a girl just going off of thier heart rates.. Also look into getting a belly lifter.. For when you get further along it does wonders for your back and legs and feet.. And maybe one of those looong pillows that they have were you can wrap it around you in all different positions.. That was so amazing to have.. And a tennis ball.. Having the Hubby roll it around your back when you get bigger and your back hurts is great..
my first doctor's appointment when I was pregnant with my son my doctor gave me information and packets of the hospitals he would deliver my son at. I don't know how it works where you live but I'd definitely ask about hospitals and stuff cause it's never to early to do research know the hospitals and all that jazz especially with twins you wanna make sure they have a good set of NICU doctors just in case they need them or anything.
Thanks for the tip! We actually chose our doctors based on the hospital we selected to deliver at, so we are set there!
Can you tolerate smoothies? I was thinking that you could put either protein powder or peanut butter into a smoothie my favourite is Peanut butter honey natural yogurt and strawberries. It tastes like Peanut butter and Jam ( jelly) sandwich.
Tracy Cook I've tried a few protein smoothies, mostly chocolate though and they didn't go over well. That is genius with the peanut butter and strawberry!! I will try that!
Brad and Rach hope it works for you
omg lookin amazing ..
your you guys gonna do a belly cast i did mine when i was 8 months. ..
You're too kind! That's a GREAT idea!!
Brad and Rach i really think god is going to bless you guys with both sex girl an boy .....i kn how u feel if you ever do feel sick and nauseous freeze ginger ale as into a slushie with Saltine crackers it helped me a lot and also it's good to have freeze pops cuz all I did was play things that will cold
Ask to see the nubs!!! Usually at 11-12 weeks you can clearly see a nub! I'm not sure if you could do Sneak Peek test since you are having twins but that would definitely make for a cute VLOG! P.S. You are so tiny! I was a bloated mess at 11 weeks LOL.
Buns And Pearls 😂
1 colace pill per day helps me A LOT - I just take it each night with my prenatal. your taste buds will go back to normal, I promise. I couldn't eat any veggies during my first trimester with my first, it got better after week 14. I'll be 10 weeks pregnant Sunday with our 2nd - but I *think* there's only one in there (we'll find out next week at our u/s appt)!!
I'm definitely going to add a colace - thanks!
I have an entire drawer full of food that I wanted once so I bought a ton of it then couldn't stand it anymore. I still can't eat anything in that drawer and my nausea has been gone for weeks! Haha
This is hilarious!
God is good 😊
My bump is so huge compared to you lol. Im 9wks with twins. But this is my 4th pregnancy only one living child though.
AS A MOTHER OF TWEENS AFTER TTC I NEVER HERD YOU SHOULD GAIN WEIGHT ON YOU FIRST TRIMESTER. I GAINED 40 POUNDS TOTAL PREGNANCY AND GAVE BIRTH ON 39 WEEKES. SO HAPPY FOR YOU XO XO XO ALL THE WHAY FROM ISRAEL
I hadn't heard that either, but it's SO important!!
I LOVE YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MACH 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Are you going to try and breastfeed? If so find a good lactation consultant ASAP one that is supportive of twin feeding. Check out Natalie Bennet vlogg she breastfed her twins.
Tracy Cook I am! I will check her out, thanks!

Ji
Ask about the blood test that can tell you the gender.
Leann Puffinberger I guess it doesn't work for twins 😭
Do ask about the cramping...
Mariaan Niemand its very normal i had it with both and every momma i know has had it. its ligament pain. obviously check with your doctor but from personal experience its something most pregnant people get!
I definitely will!
Belly way small o wow
