A wonderful footballer and an articulate and thoughtful person. Great interview. She makes a great role model for all young footballers of all genders.
Unfortunately no, 3rd world country has the ability, capability, determination, understanding & drive to get their countries out of sheer depression. Thank you for your understanding. Long live the King!
As an Aussie, I thihk Malcolm Turnbull is a credit to our country. I didn't agree with everything that happened during his prime ministership but he's clearly a thoughtful chap and a generally decent one.
As an Aussie also and I don't agree with much of the BS the liberal have done recently but I agree Malcolm Turnbull is a credit to our country he believes in democracy unlike Scomo who tried to single handily run the country through a corruption.
Not sure if sunak is even capable of that ??? IS HE ???? Deck chairs are quite awkward contraptions to cope with !!!! He has not shown any ability to sort anything out yet ??
He is too busy sorting out his own finances and how much more he can make through the many contacts he now has due to holding the posts he has held. These posts opened many doors for a scumbag money grabber like him and his wife and father-in-law. Then he will swan off back to California. After helping to destroy this country.
With Leah Williamson on the show, I am inspired. "Rearranging the goalposts on the Titanic"!! (Unlike the goalposts, at least the deckchairs on the Titanic actually existed).
Malcolm became leader of the Liberal Party in the mid-2010s in Oz. There is a rough equivalent with the UK's Tories (you're English?) Anyway, he was ousted by Scott Morrison, one of the figures in modern world politics who was essentially subverting democracy. Morrison was both a reactionary and a self-declared and proud pentecostal. Australia's Labor (sic) Party defeated his government and saved Oz from further reactionary deprivations. It is thought by some that Malcolm was a PM who perhaps was in the wrong party. He was a multi-millionaire before he moved into politics so I am not sure quite how he would have fitted with Labor. Perhaps best described as man out of his time. I quite liked him as a man and he is a staunch republican as am I.
Leah is what a footballer should be and Sòcrates would have been really proud of her. She conducts herself to the highest of standards. She’s Articulate, interesting, intelligent, well educated, a person who gives back and someone who uses her craft as a platform to want to make the world a better place for everyone. She’s a real role model and all the pre madonna “footballers”, mostly male in the machismo “top leagues” could learn from her.
Great Interview with, former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. You know we have serious problems when even Conservative figures like Malcolm Turnbull, bring up the spectre of, societal chaos & disorder because of divisive, ultimately selfish people like Trump...
Asking somebody from Rupert Murdoch's Times Newspaper about Rishi Sunak and his pitiful excuse for a government being reshuffled to get another pitiful excuse for a government and expecting her to say something negative is a totally pointless exercise. The Times is about a Tory client media as it is possible to get.

Exactly, that’s why they’ve only got 22k subs. There’s no market for this brand of milquetoast centrism outside of the BBC, which is forced into people’s homes against their will
Their podcast is the UK’s leading podcast with 24m downloads as of March 2023, so would appear there is a market for this “brand of milquetoast centrism outside of the BBC”.

A very informative and articulate interview with Leah Williamson Interspersed with humour and without any rancour
What mess by design! They should all be in prison.

Its not the Titanic. Its the Luxury Cruise Yacht for UK Oligarchs.
And operated by Infosys.
Didn’t realise there was so few deck chairs on the Titanic to reshuffle.
If it wasn't so tragic for the country, It would be just laughable.
Leah is very impressive, love listening to her interviews.

It's the 'Thank you for having me', at the end, that gets me.
Shapps will f$%k the MOD like he did with the rest of his appointments😮
Doubtless he has 'marching orders' (i.e. an Infosys wish list) from Fishy.

Great description ,,,,grunt slapps,, is the band leader,,, conducting ,while they sink
"Is Rishi "rearranging the deckchairs" on the Titanic?"
No, his head is just visible on one of the lifeboats. The boat sank some years ago.
Malcolm Turnbull seems a very human being.

@@garrysinclair9767 I agree with your assessment of both Malcolm Turnbull and Scotty from Marketing.

A military person for a military for a military SOS position .
All I know is if ever you throw the sacred chickens off the ship, be sure to throw the guy, who has the sacred chickens off the ship as well.
Showing my age here, all these conservative re-shuffles looks like the Woodentops playing musical chairs.
More like the Graf Spee....
Is Shappes going to be doing any defencing in the role of secretary of state for defence..? Or is it just about his "skills" as a party creature...
Michael Green 😂
In disaster ; it's pulling chairs of survival ?
