I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 0:02. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 0:04 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. You know Roblox *failed* their job when they _admitted_ that they *banned* him for a model from the toolbox. Roblox doesn't even bother to properly moderate the toolbox to begin with. I guess roblox mods feed their *ego* real well from all that banning.
Someone with a fully functional brain would take the free models down instead of waiting for a flood of support emails.

I remember the grab knife. It's a type of knife model that has heaps of history on ROBLOX. I don't completely remember the game, but it basically involved adults and kids kidnapping each other via holding a knife to their throats and stuff. 2013 was wild.
But yeah, after that game grab knife's have been pretty bannable. Including them in your game via just executing them through the roblox console can get you banned. Pretty serious.

@@vii-ka hey thats actually a great idea, but im pretty sure they HEAVILY refrain from using name type blacklists because its definitely gonna waste alot of resources, i dont know their limitations on their moderation but i assume thats why they dont do that

Haven’t watched the video yet but there are these free models that roblox reccomends and suggests to use i think they have some sort of orange badge on them

I got terminated for a free model that apparently had something extremely bad hidden in it and i got banned in only 5 minutes after deleting it.
btw the appeal messages were exactly identic to mine excluding the name of the model.

This is exactly the same way my old Roblox account got terminated. It happened about 2 years ago, in 2021. I was making a game and because I didn't have a lot of experience on Roblox Studio I used a lot of free models from the toolbox (which was a huge mistake). And when I tried to appeal I got a reply that was nearly completely identical to the one shown here at 2:53. And when it said that the game contained some "Ant UTG" commands thing then I knew something wasn't right. I had no idea what it was (I actually still didn't know what it was until I watched this video today), but I knew that I never added those in the game. I tried searching on UA-cam what it was at the time, but nothing came up. I kept searching but it looked like barely anyone made videos back then regarding this issue. I was frustrated, but there was nothing I could do about it.
One of the only reasons I created that game in the first place was because I wanted to earn a bit of robux (Keep in mind that robux donation games like "Pls Donate" or "Starving Artists" were not a thing back then). And one of my favorite TV shows was trending at the time, so I figured that I'd make a game that was based off that. And a few people actually started playing it. But because I trusted free models on the toolbox and was unaware that they could contain malicious scripts, soon after that it was the end of that game.
So, yeah. I don't make games anymore, and I'm not planning to, but now if I would then I'd definitely not use other people's models from the toolbox ever again and instead I'd just make my own. Just don't use free models from the toolbox at all (even if they look innocent!) because it's very very very highly likely that it would contain a bad script that could get you falsely terminated.
So yeah. Stay safe guys.
It happened to me on August 2022. Roblox banned me for inappropriate behaviour/sexual content in the game.

when i got banned for a week for putting a utg in my game last year, they just kept ignoring me when i said i didn't know what was discriminatory and sexual content, but they didn't care, in fact, they just skipped over the fact i didn't know
Another stupid thing is that they specify how you got banned more properly, they just say stuff like you got banned for inappropriate stuff, they don’t specify what item was it, I also got my main permanently terminated due to a free box model which contained inappropriate stuff inside the box, and I didn’t even import that box, my friend did cuz they were too curious and tested thinking it was just some damn box, AND they only allow you to appeal for your account back ONCE ONLY, which is kinda stupid when you don’t know what you got banned for and they didn’t more specifically specify why you got banned, I wish they will make it so you can appeal more than once
In the past they actually used to give you pictures of the thing you did!
But the images would be completely blocked with a censor so you couldn’t even see what it was anyway…

As a Roblox developer, you MUST look through EVERY part in the model you take from the Toolbox. Always have the Explorer tab open.

Not everyone is a Roblox developer. Not everyone is experienced enough to read through the scripts and be able to understand it. As Shark has said in the video, innocent kids could get their account banned by something that isn't their fault simply by inserting a free model into their game. The easy solution is for roblox to hire a separate moderation team for the toolbox, but they wont cause they're money hungry.
Heres how to avoid this,
1. Get a virus cleaner
2. Search the models your imputting into your game.
3. Be careful when looking at models.
4. Don't imput sketchy ones.
(make sure you get a virus cleaner roblox plugin.)

Banning us for their problem is something I'll never understand. They should at least fix their issue then proceed to give us at least a warning. All of your money, your time, and your memories gone because of one tiny mistake.
I got my account deleted 2 years ago for this, and all support did was blame me and didn't even bother looking into the issue.

(For UTG) which is a free model that I used in my game and when I decided to update it after years I got banned for 7 Days then I renamed the game to not after it was content deleted and that's how I got terminated on roblox

Information about 3:05 / Explaining Ant UTG and Grab Knife
Ant UTG (aka. Ant's Ultimate Trolling GUI) is a fork of the original UTG. Ant's version offers other functions and "abilities", which are more and less against the TOS of Roblox.
"Grab Knife" is an old script, that has got used for exploiting.
What does it do?
You can basically grab your knife, and you can kidnap other players with it, which makes the knife hold close to their throat. In that section, there were multiple actions. Free them, Push them away, or obviously "kill" them. In later versions, new actions got added like zombify.
But why should it be a reason for termination?
As there are multiple, different versions of "Grab Knife" (for example v3 and v4), there was also a "Full Version", that was only accessible by short of said: Owning the game.
But what makes the difference between v4 and the full version?
The full version had on one side more utility and features. From the normal knife to katana and explosives.
Seems normal for now or is there a catch?
Yes, there is a catch, because there was one "Mode" that replaced your knife with a huge D*ldo, which represented the features of that mode easily (The way of attacking players also changed to "it's obvious use").

The best way to do with a situation like this is just to double click the script before knowing was or not a virus, and you can find some catchy assets on it, you'd remove it quickly, but roblox never listens, so goodluck on those who is ever uses the toolbox and have a good day.
As far as i know, the Grab Knife was one of the tools that the ultimate trolling gui had (UTG) and it was a tool that made your character kidnap someone with a knife in his neck
Roblox should be held solely responsible to ensure content that is safe stays on the toolbox that they provide users with from other users and content that is inappropriate gets taken down.

I uploaded normal suit shirt and got banned for 7 days for innapropiate content even tho it was completely fine, i appealed but Roblox didnt even reply back 💀, so from that day i started hosting my shirts on my alt, and i make games on my alt group too.

Just wait out the 3 days, nothing you can do with automated emails from them anyway
Instead of a warning on free models ( "this model contains scripts" ) they should have a feature where you can view the script inside the toolbox/model.

4 years ago i made a robux themed obby but it was a random model and i didnt know it had a virus,3 years after i got banned because it had a virus file and i contacted roblox support and they said that its my punishment for making the game, and i didnt even know how to script :/
My account got deleted for the same reason, and roblox said it was "My fault" when I tried appealing because I didn't "Double check" the models that ROBLOX provided 😐
Roblox moderation has been having some serious problems, especially when it comes to communication, how is this guy at fault, when the items was PUBLISHED on THEIR site?! How haven't they deleted it or reviewed the Model?? This is THEIR fault, not the innocent guy who got terminated.

my account was never restored, only got the exact same bot response as everybody else. i didnt even have the utg in my game, it just had a part that was called UTG and it got my account fully deleted. 0 warnings on that account prior to the termination.
The entire point with Roblox is that anyone could make a game with free models. Then Roblox support says the you can’t use FREE models?

Oh... That's the thing how I got terminated. When i asked the support they said I had a "Grab Knife" function, with the same moderator note of being inappropriate. I talked about everything in the support ticket, and they unbanned me. As a developer, I warn everyone, it is dangerous to use free models right now, and it always was.

I think about my old main account everyday. The user name is Scoplus and I had so many things there in games I played a lot and I got deleted one day and on the ban message it doesn't specify why, it just says it's about one of my games, and back when I was on that account, I was stupid and used the UTG multiple times in games and it was okay at first, but I'm guessing one day roblox caught on and started deleting players for using it, but I was young and didn't understand any of that. Now I'm 16 and I still try to send mails to roblox every single day about getting my account back and they never even care. This is part of why I want the worst for ROBLOX. They can't care less that I was deleted so unfairly. They didn't even care to tell me exactly what I did wrong, and it wasn't my fault either like I didn't know some random thing like that would get my account just straight up deleted. Idk what to do, I need my account back it's been 4 years since I lost it now or maybe 5. Anyone have advice?

Ultimate Trolling GUI is a script gui that exploiters use, Grab Knife is a script that is banned by roblox, for containing innapropriate stuff. Thats why people get banned for using it. There are alot of UTG variations, from ant's utg, it depends on the creator.

Oh my gosh thank you. I actually placed the trolling GUI into my game when I was younger, led to a 7 day ban and deletion of the game...
I either use models I’ve used before that haven’t had any scripts in them, or make my own models and use them, or I use the models I already have in my inventory that haven’t gotten me banned
3:19 also, the grab knife was mainly used by exploiters back in the days, the newer versions of that said script had this "mode" where it would change the knife into a explict form. a exploiter ruined a bit of my childhood on roblox with that script. it still haunts me to this day.

Grab Knife, Specifically Grab Knife V4 has an inappropriate function which is why he got banned, roblox handled it very poorly though just like how they yoinked 100 robux for an arsenal vip server from me and then failed to give me the money back or the vip server. Their support overall sucks

Yeah, ever since Roblox started making bad and unnecessary updates to not only the website, but to Roblox Studio, I quit developing there. I’m thinking of developing elsewhere like Unity, Unreal Engine, etc…

my best advice if you're using free models: check the like to dislike ratio. it can help sometimes (obviously its not going to guarantee safety though)

Do you know one day I was opening my brother's account in Roblox Studio And I searched for a model and pasted it into Workspace, and after a few minutes, the Roblox Studio application was closed for no reason, and I entered the browser to check the status of the problem, and it says to me "that you have been temporarily banned."
Seeing is believing. Once you've seen one, really close up, it doesn't matter what anyone says, you can never un-see it.
the "ant utg/grab knife" means that he had a utg aka ultimate trolling gui in the game within the utg he had grab knife script which is a require script that makes the character have a knife or katana and can slice its pretty go"ei but yeah thats all i can say.

My account got terminated last year because of the Ultimate Trolling GUI, and I never got my account back.
I was making my FIRST floor 2 game, but my friend used a suspicious free model with a strange script... And then i got banned for 1 day...
I'm one of the people who got affected by this and yet, still haven't gotten unbanned.. tried appealing and nothing.. still nothing
i mean they literally recommend the models to us so how they gon tell us its his fault
As a professional game developer, I sometimes make this mistake adding in a simple model that looks like theres nothing bad in it but get banned for a long time with the same type of roblox mods not trying to help…

Yeah i got a 7 days ban cuz a model in my game had the trolling gui in it which had a script called "Bomb vest" which roblox did not like. They were kind enough to tell me what exactly was the bad thing when i asked them by email so i was able to fix it and reupload it without issue.

Grab Knife is a script that requires a model e.g. require(model number here) it shows some rather graphic animations where the character has a knife and kills them in a really awful way with blood spilling everywhere.
Pretty sure they can inject a module script then call an "innocent" named function that will do something bad.

Grab knife is an "require" script that adds a lot of blood and stuff with it. Its an old script that can be used with dev console, extractor gui, or outside extracting application (exploiting).
Kinda moving away from roblox because of stupid things like this, I just don't wanna feel sad about roblox anymore
These are my tactics to avoid this problem
Only use models that have high likes , if it has not a lot of likes I avoid
Inspect every part and everything in the free model
Ant UTG = " Ant's Ultimate Trolling GUI "
Grab Knife = The grab knife used to be an exploit/serverside script back when roblox filtering enabled didn't exist.
The " Grab Knife " was not a model, it was apart of the UTG.
How clever, hiding a gui that can insert questionable models into games.

It is understandable that most people here are complaining that roblox needs to do better, I agree but there are some factors that may prove wrong but I am not a Full fledged ROBLOX fan that just outright defends roblox, what I am trying to say is Roblox definitely needs to do better and fix moderation especially when Moderators are just Bots which doesn't understand that much, I hope roblox does fix their moderation and how they handle these types of situations and old roblox maybe better than new roblox but it is important to note that roblox has evolved over the years, I personally did not experience old roblox but based on the context it seems like Old Roblox was a good time from the past, things eventually need to go so, ain't conclusion Roblox needs to fix their moderation and anything else.

Grab Knife /V3 had a inappropriate word for male genital toy starting with d mode had you dash toward someone and use it on them.
As one of the victims of the trolling gui people that got unbanned and found out some got deleted.
I was just like:

Bro was lucky to get a second response when my old account got banned they just told me a model I created was promoting "adult content" and basically told me to screw off and refused to elaborate or let me explain anything

Its fine to use free models, many popular games do so, just double check for malicious scripts/bits.
from what i remember grab knife was a sword script so i dont see why that would get him banned

executor/exploit i know what was UTG and Grab knife. grab knife was like a animation and have a knife but not a FE (Filtering Enable) and UTG
is old gui and is not FE.

I'm just gonna say this but roblox doesnt care about us players anymore, no matter what we do they try to "keep it for all ages" likecome on roblox we are human beings, we need to respect each other not just blame each other for our mistakes, it's just not right. I really hope David sorts this out because if this keeps happening, roblox is going to die 😥
Why doesn’t Roblox did a moderation for the free models 🤦♂️
To be honest , I am a game creator , I used to check all the plugin I downloaded and models I chosen. Especially plugin, I almost got hacked that time , luckly I checked the description.
i am unable to find the game that was deleted, but the reason grab knife isnt allowed on roblox or utgs is because grab knife has a mode where you... penetrate lego figures which is why it gets deleted. Utgs usually contain grab knife v4. Or maybe some other script that has an inappropriate function
(forgot to mention its also probably because grab knife usually has blood on as default
A thing you could do is select the model and search “Script” if there are any scripts in it it might be a virus.

yeah i got ultimate trolling GUI and got banned for a week in 2021. Roblox Support said that Ultimate trolling gui is a violation of their TOS and to keep it out of your game. and didnt unban me. Like what why didnt you ban the item if its a violation??? The user that uploaded it still hasnt got banned. So i sent another message to roblox a day later and they responded with: We're sorry, we cannot provide any more information on this inquiry.
I recommend if you wanna still use free models to:
-check for scripts ( if the model is _meant to be decorative_ remove it the second you find it )
-try to find suspicous parts ( if for some reason the left to right slider is too large it probably means it has something _sketchy_ )
-dont place sketchy ones ( _sometimes_ the like to dislike ratio can help )
Do note that there are probably more things to be aware of, but this is all i got for now, stay safe!
