I have barely any medical background at all and after 20 minutes I feel pretty confident on this subject. You're an excellent teacher.
I was eight minutes through the video when I realized that I should really get some paper for notes, I'm only fourteen but I'm so interested in medical stuff I find myself on websites reading about stuff. You made a huge impact with me learning about the regular heart beat and so on. I actually have a stethoscope to listen to the heart, I have a S3 heart beat, after the S2. Oh man I'm going to be up all night watching your videos, thank you for uploading videos for us the understand I want to become a doctor one day. Have an awesome day or night
How do I even reply?! No problem? You're the one who should be thanked, you made a huge difference on me already. I'm going to watch more of your videos tomorrow, you're amazing at doing what you do.

road to the nobel prize
Blessed greetings and many thanks Brother Dr Adeleke. Indeed, today has been an eye opener and learning curve for us here at Light of The World FC as part of our summer Community Health / Social Health community development for health network adult learners. The sounds in regards to S3 where you spoke about heart failure was personally very useful at this time for us -13 minutes and 19 seconds... God bless you brother and keep up the very good health work where ever you are in the world.

Needed this
Former nursing student and current NP student, so I've been through quite a few cardiology lectures, and this one really seemed to help the information stick! Thank you!
sounds like speaking to a little child, but well made, thanks...
***** lol, I am thankful for the info, it did help me understand. The talking method, not so much. I can bare with it, but I don't like it. Call it a preference if you wish. If you are ok with it, then I am happy for you.
Wheel on the bus
This video should be a real help to all of you. I’m a cardiac surgeon and when I was in Med School they just made us memorize the heart sounds. This is a much more efficient way. Take Notes!!
Love this guy!

I learn so much by watching your videos! Thank you for posting them!!!!! I love your energy.
I´m so happy having found this video. In Germany we have only some few doctors which are so cool and would explain that topic so good. Thumbs up!
Wow, I was reviewing this break in preparation for my 2nd year in med school, this helps a lot in making me remember. Thanks!
You're a great instructor and you kept me engaged with your change in tones. I learned alot!!
When teaching S3 and S4 sounds in my nursing school , we used "slush-ing in" to describe S3 and "a-stiff-wall" to describe S4...and it goes well with the definitions making it easier to understand!
So much swagg in the lecture, love it! Youd be a great teacher and a doctor too mate, keep it up! :)
thank you, loved your personality and explanation of heart sounds...Kudos
I like you a lot 😂 A huge thank you for making this easy for students! you're the best.

Nursing student from miami, fl checking in!! Thanks...
Pneumonic, All prostitutes take money,
Aortic, Pulmonary, Tricuspid and Mitral
It works for me lol
+James Harty Funny. I learned All physicians take money. Yours maybe better....at least for you! :D
Great video! I'm new to creating educational videos myself. May I ask what software you use? Thanks.
The most important thing when listening to heart sounds is to be able to tell which is first and which is second. You may be able to do that, without any help, after years of experience BUT for newly qualified doctors and med students it is very important to PALPATE THE CAROTID PULSE AT THE SAME TIME WHILE AUSCULTATING - THE HEART SOUND WHICH COINCIDES WITH THE CAROTID PULSE SHOULD BE THE FIRST HEART SOUND.
He is cool I love this guy
I have a little sister called Evie do you think you’ll like her???😊😊😊😊😘😘😘😘😘😘🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I am cuban nurse.I am studying English and for the NCLEX-RN EXAMINATION.....i understanded you VERY GOOD.YOU ARE BRILLIANT AS A DOCTOR.Thanks you for that video. I'm sorry if any mistake in my comment.
Thank you, I finally understood the true meaning of the S1 S2 S3 S4; never thoroughly figured them out even have I begun my residency.
what is wrong with heart if first and second beats are working straight ? let me explain my question
heart sounds like this : Lubdub...(pause)... Lubdub..(pause)... Lubdub...(pause)...
but what if it hasn't pause ? something like this : LubdubLubdubLubdubLubdub
what is it and is it scary ?
Is ERB's Point unecessary? My nursing checkoff requires 5 heart auscultation sites. Aortic Pulmonary Erb's Tricuspid Mitral - All People Enjoy Time Magazine
Thank you SO much. As a patient (and the husband of someone who recently had an inferior AMI/RCA) - knowledge is POWER. The medical profession tends not to empower patients which is sad because NOT understanding causes fear, leads to unfounded denial of one's condition and results in low rates of treatment compliance.
You have helped me very profoundly. Thankyou very much. And especially when it came to the night before my exam. Please continue making such videos. We need you. Thankyou once again. Sending love all the way from India.
pls help me..I am 36 yrs old, mom of 2, I had mitral regurgitation, it all started when I had a swelling tonsil when I was 8 yrs old, then rheumatic heart desease..Now my mitral regurgitation is 3/4 , should I undergo an open heart surgery or should i take supplement like hyaluronic acid, d ribose and magnesium? please help me , I dont want to die
THANK-YOU soooo much.....senior in nursing school and this is the first time I've ever seen this type of example of what to listen for....love the hand tap over diaphragm....makes total sense.
When the blood come back in to the heart, is it S2? very nice explanation like my firend on college used to teach. At every step he would say "tell yes".
Wow *-*
I am from Germany and my english is not very perfekt. But I understood you the hold time and I learned so much !! Very very Good! You have to become a Professor at an University :) thank you Very much
Thank you. This made what I am looking for much more clear. The suggestion to put on the stethoscope and use your hand is a FANTASTIC approach. It almost sounds like the real thing! I will teach my student colleagues.
I have a better understanding of heart sounds now. Wonderful video. Thank you so much.
Thank you, your example to engage your listeners by having them mimic the sounds with their hand really helped. RN - currently making a job switch to telemetry and reviewing old stuff.
Thank you! Listen to your lectures before lessons where I teach my students of medicine, because you explain very well and I listen to find out how to expalin difficult things easy enough.
you are one among the few that has found your calling... you make medicine so much fun & easy.... may God richly bless you... continue your good work..... i'm sooo happy right now... from Trinidad
Not sure if you get these comments. BUT thank you. You are very funny ! My personality is very similar to yours. I also hope to specialize in ER Med.
It is a fantastic lecture. As a Professor of Physiology, I really enjoyed your presentation. May God bless you and use you more mightily in the field of academics.
Im not a medical student.I just happen to see this vedio while looking for a heart sound background....but I understand what he is trying to explain...I can say he is a good teacher and doctor.
Thank you so much, Dr. A. I am a new commer without sciense background, but I will apply to nursing school soon. I wish I had you as my tutor. :)
I am in an online FNP program and this video is great. I just started my clinicals but the clinic I'm at doesn't see too many sick heart patients so this video was a great help. Thanks!
thanks so much for your video! (any videos on newborn heart sounds? having trouble counting them, because they're so fast!) >_
OMG! you made it simple! I am in my Nurse Practitioner program and cardiac assessment has been the hardest!! You are an awesome educator. Thank you.
