Hi CJ, the quickshifter is an optional for the R7. If you buy it new and pay the extra for the QS it comes fitted from the factory, if you don't buy it but then you change your mind you can still upgrade it with the kit you have.
In my opinion the QS is no brainer, if it's a good one it makes your ride so much better!

Friend, next to the exhaust you can also throw away the fork bars, which are the same garbage.
Don't waste time repairing them.

Hi CJ, you know there in America the R7 race against the Aprilias RS660, although they have 20 HP less in standard condition. So, there might be a kit to enhance the R7 power.....just a thought.

Just a heads up, that quickshifter is for upshifts only since it is ride by wire throttle if I’m not wrong.

CJ my friend in order to activate the qs from the manuals description the qs parameter in the ecu must be unlocked otherwise it doesn't work
