I’ve been doing it for 14 years and it took me 10 to get to 100k and now the algorithm is not my friend 😂 hardly anyone is shown my videos (I must have had a poor streak that angered the gods) but I won’t stop because I love it. There are people with millions of views who just up and leave because they don’t enjoy it anymore. UA-cam doesn’t have a “completed it” so just keep doing you as long as you’re having fun and don’t get swept away in the “you should do this”.. that’s a sure fire way to lose interest in the platform ❤
Hey girl, I just found you from an old haul video but vibed with you straight away! One of the biggest things thats helped me is taking myself out of the 'making it' and focusing on it as a creative/emotional outlet and things are looking up! Ive been here about 4 years but posting inconsistently as doing it alongside full-time work, hopefully having a similar opportunity to yourself in being able to sink my energy into it full time now..We got this!
I reached 1K subs today and I've been at it for just over 2 years so I understand what you mean by the slow growth 😢 Honestly I'm so glad I found you 🎉❤

I'm a newbie to UA-cam - just started at the beginning of the year and I have only 115 subscribers - and I'm sure most of them are my family and friends!! But every time I get a new subscriber I'm cheering. I'm sure I'll make it too, but yeah - it sometimes feels slow! I do love making videos though and TBH, I feel like I'm just starting to find my feet. Thanks for the motivation!! You're awesome!

1 year in (about 6 months of actually trying ha) and I'm only now starting to see more than 10 subs a month haha I was once told "Your audience is out there and they are trying just as hard to find you" and that keeps me going! Also, I love the analytics too haha!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I had a youtube channel 10 years ago and I always regretted to gave it up but at least I know what I want to do in life and without it I wouldn't probably know that I want to direct films and documentaries. Today I am starting again because by professionalising my skills, especially when I work for corporate sometimes I feel like it is too robotic, being back on youtube would help me to practice and find the passion again like I did for my first channel. I think great things takes time it took me 10 years to accomplish 2 professionals film... So I understand you. Consistence is everything and loving what you do is key as well, knowing that you work even though people say the contrary you're the one who knows what you spend your day doing, so what they say doesn't matter (easy to say, ikr) as long as you're truth with yourself and you want to do it for the rest of your life that what matters, because this is your life. :)
This was so empowering. This is my first exposure to you and thank you for sharing this. I have just started my channel because of similar disabilities and my fibromyalgia and I'm struggling so much with a full time job. I already have learned so much with UA-cam and know there's so much more to learn and I'm excited for it. You are so relatable in this video 🤗

In one word, what content do you create? This might be why the growth is slow, pick a few areas of interest and nail in on them. Just my .02

I'm not your subscriber, BUT DON'T STOP if really have fun of it Subscribers doesn't matter, I think we could create our community and be ourself I'm just started life UA-cam channel after 11 years after I quite YT with my gaming account with 28 subscribers :D Now you have 3850 subscribers, it's very big number, because just image all these people come to your town just to meet you, it like a small city count! have you tried tik tok? and instagram hell even twitter following trends (you can say you re selling your soul and nah thats cheating but at the same time it would get the traction you need and i just have to say dont be a chameleon, dont try to be in any way different from how you are now and choose the trends and songs and the things that work with who you are) just this would be my advice (if you haven’t done all of this already) but try to bring people from other platforms and even if you dont follow trends at least be on those other platforms regularly
