Great to see more! Do you mind sharing the Fort Carmick Trial trick? How much space do you have to run around on? It'd be nice to have for photos as I'm trying to make an overhead map of the levels. Stalker beetles are an option but there's a lot variables, image quality issues, and needing to be in a live game to account for.
Thank you for offering a recommendation. That discontinued project definitely was an inspiration. There are some people who've extracted or made a mosaic of the drawn map, but I'm trying to see if I can make a more robust detailing of the game maps. Having the measure tool and audio radii are good starts, but I'm not seeing digitized layers of the paths and buildings so that it can be analyzed and redrawn to preference (the grime texturing on the maps makes some features hard to see). The direction of watch towers, the types of buildings being represented, elevation changes, and foliage haven't really been accessible as a player resource, yet.@@UncleOnion
That spot only works in trial mode for now, that doesn't mean it won't work on live servers in the future... since Crytek announced working on a decentralized backend and better player to player connections, reducing rubberbanding and desyncing. I'm not gonna show how or explain these kind of spots but i can tell you this: The space to move around on isn't even 10% of Fort Carmick itself.
Hey great video thanks! I like the approach that you just show it simply with a bit of orientation before and not much talking or explaining. Just have a question. How do you manage to get above the Shitter in Sweetbell? When I am on the Door I cant get up on it because of the stairs.
I like how the sound of running in this game makes hunters feel like they are 300 pounds of muscle and iron... but light enough to balance on the edge of a 2 inch door.
Damn, i was hoping this video solve one particular spot. In Nichollas Prison, there's a spot where you can go on a certain area in the boss area. It was posted on reddit a week ago, im still scratching my head on how to do it because they, the people who did, keep insisting that its just jumping.
@@ebenezerscrew Other boss lair. There's a portion you can stand on in the center and some guys said to do jump spots. If you look up somewhere near the cross, you see a platform where you can possibly stand on, thats the spot im thinking of.
Did you try to go on the roof of the main building at the Golde Acres. From the small roof it seems possible. I have been trying to do that but getting on the small roof is quite hard, I cannot get on the door.
I've tried that, yes. The collision box for that roof is way higher than the actual roof itself so sadly it's unreachable with basic methods. Also the jump on the door is quite hard, no other way than practicing.
@@jdwylde7 Yeah, this is at sweetbell Flour in the building with the chimneys, you have to escalate the "oversized wooden spoon" on the near wall, you can jump on the closed chimney's door next to it to get up there, then while your facing the wall you'll see 2 white can, face them and spam the jump, the idea is to glitch out through the roof and jump on them, the problem is that only half of the upper body can phase through the roof, letting your legs exposed.

Anyway, the location is at Sweetbell Flour, in the building with the 2 chimneys, you have to escalate the suspended platform, then you'll see 2 white can on a shelf, position yourself face to it and spam jump, at some point your character will glitch through the roof and then jump on the cans.
0:28 BEWARE FOR ASIA PLAYERS, enemy tends to have object remover/something to not render certain objects like this cloth here, cause a few times trying this I always got shot from Prison direction.

Many of them are harder than they might look like, specially on live servers. Also, in a fight you often won't have the time to execute them.

Are you making an overhead map for you own reasons? Cuz otherwise hunt.rip has the in-game overheads maps.
