It's amazing how this version sounds like it came directly from a Disney film! The composition and the way the instruments are used and set up sounds so Disney like!
This is total final boss music, it's something you should hear as a full looping theme for a highly emotional final clash where victory still means the loss of someone dear to you; almost like with The Other Promise, it just tugs at your heartstrings.
So to clarify, Passion and Sanctuary are the same song, the difference is the language. So Passion is the Japanese title and Sanctuary is the English title. The lyrics are relatively the same and Utada Hikaru sings both versions since she speaks both Japanese and English.
I'm replying late for anyone else just reading up on this, they are both the same song but because the English translated version (Sanctuary) are a bit different, so is the melody. For the most part it's identical, but a few here and theres are really different which *sound way better* when transposed as an orchestral.
