Just so y’all know, at least from my experience, for most public events, entry level local security companies are contracted. Companies are always spend as little as possible. Concerts, races, world cups, game awards, rodeos, just so y’all know. Stay safe y’all.
This is true. I had to contract security for an event and I was dismayed upon doing a google search for options. These places cant even launch an ok website. If anything, the marketing for ALL of them made me REALLY nervous about having any of them help with security. Total clearance aisle unprofessional shit show.

This was funny in the most uncomfortable way possible. I bet Oompa was wishing they didn't invite this kid and I'm onboard with his judgement. Obviously the accent isn't real but Nux still imitating it as a comeback was hard to listen through.

The kid is trying extra hard, Oompa is completely dejected which feels like something’s wrong, Nux’s responses are more defensive than trolling, and Muta understandably can’t be the only one to try to keep everything on track but it ends up being just him getting respect or anything substantial out of the guest. Matan refuses to break character and it doesn’t feel like they adjusted either. Can’t blame them. Makes me wonder if they vetted him enough before recording the episode or if they winged it lol.

I just realized that 2022 was like the year of “no security” for these big events. From Trash taste(MCM) to the Oscars,to the Dave Chappelle show, to now the game awards and so on. It baffles me how these event planners put so little care and effort into keeping everyone safety a top priority with the lack of security last year. I know 2022 was the first year that the world is coming back close to normal with having in person events after the pandemic but still.
