Congratulations to Sunny for winning it over these giants in the community. I only managed to catch the last bit of the finals live but I'll definitely watch the whole thing after this. Also I know I'm a nobody, but I'd gladly watch your content if you ever decide to put them back on. Cheers!
Pretty much goes without saying that these lists are all really clever, and that everyone in the top 8 deserves massive kudos for making it this far through a lot of competition. It makes me so happy to see the players of this format continue to grow in population and skill level. Just to comment on Sunny, the winner of this RBET and former Edison content creator, I appreciate Keegan at least mentioning the toxicity he dealt with and especially encouraging people to remember the humanity behind the voices they hear in these videos. I tried some other alt. Yu-Gi-Oh formats in the past (most notably HAT) and had to bow out because the toxicity of their communities, including the most influential members, made the formats unpleasant, both to talk about and often even to play. I've managed to stick with Edison because of community members like Keegan and several others who use their platforms to encourage better behavior on top of better skills related to the game itself. I also really appreciate how open to good faith criticism Keegan's been in the past. I think that's the biggest reason why he and others have had such a profoundly positive effect on the Edison community, and I think that community plays a major role in Edison's popularity and continued growth.
I hope Sunny is reading these comments, I'd love for him to revive his channel. His content was so educational, and it's a shame that he was hated out when his content did nothing but help me and many others. It was never surface level stuff, and that's what I think is necessary to level up and grow as players.
This was a particularly fun Rulers with the saga of Dmitri going from “Dust DAD Dmitri” to “Brio DAD Dmitri” to his final form in the finals “just Drop DAD Dmitri.” What a legend not to mention our new Ruler’s champion Sunny. Congrats to everyone who made it to this event and played out of their minds ❤
Yesterday, I wanted to try playing Edison for the first time on DuelingBook, but my deck would fail to save every time for some reason, so I couldn't. Maybe it was good it failed. I also looked back on why I quit using DuelingNetwork back in the day in favor of DevPro or whatever.
Ah you do mention Double Elim later in the video. Was the entire event like that? Invites to qualify, double elim brackets? Pretty cool if so. I'm a strong believer that the most commonly used structures for TCGs kinda suck (except for TOs obv)
2:15 I imagine it's gotta be to increase resilience against Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror and Consecrated Light, especially given he's siding 2 of the latter
Bro unironically features a terrorist flag at the start of the video. What the f man. Great idea ya let's endorse death and destruction of the innocent in a rando yugioh video. Any opinion or claim you make was instantly invalidated by that alone.
Palestine is a country? The flag in the corner is the Palestinian flag. The native flag to the west asian country of Palestine. There is even an emoji of it :) I hope this helps ❤️🇵🇸 Google it and read more about Palestine!
@E3YuGiOh I'm talking about the fact that blackwings is a deck anyone can top with lol. Let's see someone do all that with x-sabers. Never gonna happen.
Top 8 decklists already? You spoil us Keegan
Simp
i think i watched all sunnys videos and its indeed very sad that they are not online anymore!
congraz sunny on this win!

Beautiful comment
@@crunchyapples596 Oh, thank you. You guys deserve the praise.
Holy shit the diversity is beautiful.

Loved sunnys content learned a ridiculous amount from it
I just realized Sunny deleted all his videos, sooo sad, it were really one of the best…
huh, why did he do that?
@@fameman1239 Keegan explains it in the video. People treated him horribly.
Awesome event as per usual. Cant wait to see what 2025 brings us. Cheers.
Gotta love all these incredible players coming together to compete with each other. I love that RBET exists
I'm mad that people spread hate on Sunny. He is great and didn't deserve it. Shame on those idiots

Great event grats to top 8
❤️
Shoutout to Kezza my 🐐👑
I want that deck list that had Kaiser colesseum and arcana the fool 😊
W Flag like usual.
Sunny deserved this W! Anyone criticizing his input is a verifiable fraud and I can’t wait to watch his videos since I never had the opportunity!
Loved sunnys vids, people saying mean shit is part of the reason i dont play on DB at all, so i relate.
Absolute legend and really great win

King effort as always
❤️
Also glad I gave the win to Kez so I could keep the hyper consistent 48 amaryllis spice secret ;)
Top 8 in less than 24 hrs? Keegan is on a role bro
Roll*
@Flashofblades i meant what i said, you just thought of it in a flash
Wish you showed off the mat
I showed it on stream
Can I ask where I got to watch these games if that's possible. Thanks again folks.
i think on the "live" tab you can rewatch all games
@@thomasrottensteiner8926 Thank you very much watched the sunny video had me tearing this is what the best of this game and do very good class.
Dimitri didn’t play thought ruler? That can’t be right
I was looking at the same thing, i guess most wurm came up more for him in testing
Dust tornado and Trap stun arent similar cards though? Why would you compare trapstun to those any not Trunade, Heavy, Coldwave….
No Guardian Eatos 😭
Bracket reset match? Ayo what tourney structure was RBET Rulers in??
Double elim!

Yeah.
I'm the first, lame on me I lost the stream
RBET 1 and 2 this year as well as RBET Maryland did not have an Amaryllis in top 4. Amaryllis did not finish in top 8 of any of these events either.
Probably meant the second half of the year … feel you tho
Yea meant second half! Just misspoke

Praising someone the way you did over blackwings is wild
Dimitri has topped all 3 RBET rulers, winning one, including several rbets and UTW along the way with different decks. What r u talking about...
@E3YuGiOh I'm talking about the fact that blackwings is a deck anyone can top with lol. Let's see someone do all that with x-sabers. Never gonna happen.
@@gorz859 No you would not be able to replicate those results with blackwings sorry. Go ahead, let's see you do it
