By promoting GKY and keeping HSK, it signals dominance of 3G team, lack of confidence in 4G team, power struggles, and distrust within the PAP. Singaporeans must know that this is not about continuity of government, but hold on power by LHL and his 3G team. LW is just another tool. In exchange to become the next PM, LW will promise to keep 3G team in charge. LW is also making use of this opportunity to sideline his fiercest competitors, CCS and OYK. Do not trust PAP. Do not vote PAP. Make LW a one term PM.

What is the prognosis for Singapore’s foreseeable future? There is hardly any potential talent in the opposition now or even in the future, and the continuity of the People’s Action Party’s (PAP) governance, though not palatable, seems to be an unbelievably foregone conclusion.
We should not give tan cheng bock a blank cheque. instead we must support real opposition like reform party.
They will just tax the people more and run down all the reserves transferring it from state funds to private individual accounts, all in the name of helping Singaporeans.
