This is my favorite incarnation of Jinjer, with Dmitry Oksen on guitar alongside Roman and The Beast Mantulin on drums. Mantulin survived a 3 story fall from a kitchen window and had a grueling rehab afterward. Not sure if he’s able to even walk now, but he does upload guitar stuff every now and then. Dmitry left to pursue a career in acting 🤔.
I don't think he is trying to troll by saying that Jinjer isn't a metal band, he just doesn't want to go into a long winded discussion about why they don't consider themselves to be ONLY a metal band.
The Cloud Factory album is still my favorite Jinjer album and I pretty much love them all. My favorite Jinjer song, Outlander is on it as well as No Hoard of Values another top 5 Jinjer song for me.
The official live has the current members in it for Cloud Factory.I think you did Who is gonna be the one live Napalm records. I believe Outlander the failure color version has these same band members and it’s 🔥
You know it's an older video because Tatiana doesn't have the dragon tattoo on her throat.Love the dreads and the nerd look with the glasses. Amazing clean vocals too.
Second guitarist dimitri oksen was the last original member to leave the band he left to become an actor ,also hes in a recent jinjer video called "disclosure”playing a prison interigator, and im sure he’s the one who came up with the band name. This isn’t there first work there is earlier stuff with yet again another drummer. The drummer in this video had a accident with his back and had to leave the band tati and Eugene have said in interviews if he hadn’t had the accident he would still be in the band now. Great reaction 👍🏻
Also, Eugene has said recently that Vlad joining is the best thing that has happened to this band since he has been in the band. He and Eugene have a really great chemistry and although all of the previous drummers were good, Vlad now composes and arranges quite a lot of the songs himself, including many ideas for guitar and bass parts. I think that this has added a completely different element of technicality to their music and helping the band grow as separate musicians (the newer stuff is more challenging to play and write lyrics to for them) and that's also a big part of why Eugene says this
The 2nd guitarist is demitri oksen. He's the police officer in the desclosure . He left the band to persue an acting career. Oh by the way check out destroy by them you'll see there original drummer.
Old school Jinjer, when they were a 5 piece band and Tatiana and Eugene had the dreads. This drummer later fell out of a window and broke his spine. They had a friend fill in for a couple of years until they found a permanent replacement...Vlad. The other guitarist was the last founding member and he left to pursue acting. The band decided that it would be really hard to find someone to replace him since their touring was insane and low budget, so they became a quartet.
Okay, I thought this was the drummer that fell... They've had a few. I think technically the last "original" member of Jinjer is Jane the Merch Girl (who is the girlfriend of Jinjer's original singer) but she isn't a band member as a musician. A few of the former band members are still involved with the band behind the scenes in studio and on the road because where they are from, there isn't quite as much of a "metal scene" in that a lot of the same names are involved with the metal/rock/hardcore/punk/bar bands that are there.
Jinjer Jr. is good, even the stuff before Tatiana. I do think they have the best lineup so far as Jinjer stands today but all of their early stuff is worth a listen. Its actually crazy how you can hear a lot of their influences in the older and newer stuff but they have definitely found their own style and sound over the years that is unique to the point where you now KNOW its Jinjer when you hear them, without the visual element
There you have Eugene Mantulin on the drums, in one of the few videos where you can watch him playing before the accident that forced him to leave the band. And yes, that's Eugene on the bass, he used to have dreads when he joined the band. This is the only song with what you could call a solo. There's another one with something similar, A Plus Or A Minus, but it's more of a lick in one part of the song than a normal solo, despite being a sweep lick.
Another great Jinjer reaction, keep 'em coming! It's always cool to see their old videos, they always had that groove. Also Ithink Eugene made that "not really metal" to get a rise out of people. Considering their UA-cam channel is "Jinjer Metal Band" I think they embrace it pretty well.
I've been a metal head since before every member if this Donesk Ukrainian band was born. But when I first heard this my mind was blown, then when I read the lyrics too it became my favorite song of all time. Tatiana is from a non English speaking country but is using words that a natural born Michigan guy who only knows plain American English never heard before
The energy in this as well as most of the songs off this album, is just amazing. I think it is a great follow up to the King of Everything album which also had great energy. In your free time, check out the OLMV version of this track, I think it is either Kiev, Moscow, or Australia somewhere...but it is done with just Roman on guitar and with Vlad on drums, and her vocals blend a bit more, but carries a lot of the same energy which is an awesome vibe live. Roman wrote the instrumental section in these albums, and is easily contrastable to Vlad's writing in parts of Macro and all of Wallflower.
Cloud Factory came before King of Everything. Napalm re-released it in 2018, but it was originally released 2014 (Ukraine, CDr) and 2015 (limited release by labels from Japan and Greece).
I almost subscribed, but noticed that you dont do you studio versions of tunes, its always a live version, and live versions of bands like Rush are rarely superior. Rush arent blockers, in fact their management has sent out Rush peess kits and complete discographies to serveral reactors ive seen.

Yall should definitely react to the live version to this song
Haha, Eugene be trolling. :D I enjoy the video. And you are right that they almost never have solos.

Fav song

I've always thought that the beginning of this song had a strong Pantera vibe and Tatiana is undoubtedly hitting that Phil cadence spot on.
This is great! You need to check out the official live version! Somehow it's even more kickass than this one 🤘
True story
definitely agree!
It's great and also an eyefull for the guys.
Vocals come through better on this one, but the live version shows the band more, Vlad kills it.
When she first starts singing in this song she sounds to me like Geddy Lee in Temples of Syrinx
You know it's an older video because Tatiana doesn't have the dragon tattoo on her throat.Love the dreads and the nerd look with the glasses. Amazing clean vocals too.
Tatiana's throat tattoo is of Quetzalcoatl

Vlad is an excellent drummer.. he may be my favorite in the band.
Need to check the live version. Much better

The live version (official live video) has the current band lineup.

Check out 'Scissors' & 'Outlander' by Jinjer (older stuff but kicks ass)

Outlander has a section which can be described as either a solo or a lick...it is short but it is there.
@@robertevans2450 - Where?
Lol outlander has breakdowns ...not exactly solos lol.
@@davidjames6036 - Ikr? I know that song very well but I went and listened to it again to see where the hell is that section. 😆
Here is our Reaction to JINJER Sit Stay Roll Over out today!! --> ua-cam.com/video/sXZIK0v6eh4/v-deo.html
You caught Tati's vibe,, she is a huge Gwen Stefani fan
In late 2015 the one guitarist quit the band and the drummer who was the second drummer fell off a balcony

Who doesn't love a girl in "dickies"… :D
This is their third drummer, Yevhen Mantulin, who broke his spine later on.
I heard a wile back that Jinjer has no original members .

Ive had a couple Rush videos blocked. I will be going through their entire recorded catalog from start to finish very soon.
