I'm a teacher too, Stephanie, and I don't get your problem with the dancers. They're not 'young girls showing their knickers' they're adult women performers.
Princess Buttercup i totally agree with you i mean come on there not showing off their knickers there just dancers I'm in year 7 we was watching this in cooking i don't know why and my cooking teacher said the idsact thing i live in Middlesex and places like Wembley you see these most of the time but here in West Drayton you don't see these everyday so we really don't understand her problem have a lovely day 😂💖💖🇬🇧🇬🇧😉❤
In many cultures it is inappropriate, immoral or irreligious to display the body for entertainment, and being ambushed by an unwanted display is pretty awful. Oh intolerance, thy name is everyone. If only everyone knew it.
I hope she doesn't have clients. Stephanie would make them feel that their lives are so. beyond worth living compared to her delusional life of grandeur. Stephanie is beyond a grump. Her husband (I hope she doesn't have children. I'm sure they would be the ultimate bullies and would take absolute no responsibility in the harm they would cause) must love complete mystery every.single.second.of every.single.day.
Wish I was younger--- I'd hop on a plane and find Liam!!! What a cutie-pie! I love Sue's energy and her kind spirit. I'd love to fly them here to America and I'd cook for them! I love this show! Thank-You for sharing with us.
Stephanie, just a word of advice from a retired psychologist, you need to do a lot more psychological work on yourself. If someone has an issue then it's up to you to placate them, not to be superior and put them down, but that's why you chose psychology to lecture on, isn't it, because you do really think you're superior.
Just a word of reminder from a retired teacher to a retired psychologist. Stephani is not at a clinic, treating patients. She is at a friendly (hopefully) competition and has every right to be herself, and express herself, without needing anyone's advice. :=)
@@mehquaz357 Thanks for your reaction after all this time. Let me get one thing straight. The subjects of psychology and counselling attract people who have an unconscious need to resolve their foibles, but experience has taught me that unless they dig deep and have a hefty dose of their own medicine their character flaws will forever remain unresolved. It takes a lot of courage to dig that deep and unlease those emotions that have been locked-in since childhood because it can be extremely painful going into unknown territory. I've seen this time and again, even with supposedly experienced counsellors who are sometimes more neurotic than their clients. Here we have someone who was attracted to psychology so much so she wants to lecture on it. But the clues are all there that she's got quite a few unresolved issues. For one there's the social awkwardness, feeling embarrased with the can-can dancers. Being prudish shouts out to me there's a big unresolved issue probably originating from childhood. Then there's the need to appear superior. That stems from the superiority complex because that particular defence mechanism makes the person feel good, like I'm the king of the castle so I'm better than you. So, my advice to dear old Stephanie still holds true. Sort yourself out petal, go through the pain barrier and you'll be happier and a better person for it. I hope I've helped to clear things up for you.
@@lauriesicardaskey You speak of superiority complexes and then go on to condescend to someone in an extremely superior manner. You call someone "petal" in way that makes it obvious you consider yourself their better in terms of knowledge and intellect. Maybe it's YOU who needs to do some serious introspective work. Terrible to think of the people who came to you for help and received this kind of treatment.
stiffanie, your night better be a ten course, fine dining degustation... unbelievable that you are a psych lecturer, in saying that, its usually the most broken people that seek answers in psychology... (speaking from experience) but damn, she just wants to lecture those 'beneath her'...
I thought the dancers were very tacky, the can can belongs dead and buried with the rest of the Victorians. Ria seems very uneducated, Steph is a snob, I still like Sue, and Liam, not sure about Russell yet but he seems okay. I always root for the nicest person even when their food is bad
Use a scissors or a knife to cut through the casing of the chorizo and just use the back side of a knife to scrape it off of the gut. The video is showing the incorrect and really difficult way to do it.
Absolutely agree with Stephanie. It's misogynistic and gross, but tolerated because it's what we're told to tolerate. And you can see the effects of CHALLENGING the norm of exploitation in this comment section. God forbid a woman have a dissenting opinion.
You know feminism doesn’t only apply to the parts of womanhood that you enjoy, it applies to every type of woman. If a woman chooses to sexualise herself and dance, you shouldn’t shame her for it! Irrespective of your own personal views. You can set boundaries for yourself without policing somebody else’s body, we aren’t here to judge.
Women have to deal with sexualisation irrespective of how they dress or act, so if somebody chooses to act accordingly & profit off of that, it’s up to them. You are allowed to have your own feelings, but you aren’t allowed to police another persons body. It’s no better than the politicians banning abortion, or the doctors that withheld the birth control pill (back in the day). Absolutely ridiculous.
And God forbid a woman have a CHOICE if she wants to show her body or not! You do know that women are dying for the right to have that choice? You're not a "feminist", you're just a jealous, bitter, frump.
Clearly a nun locked in a convent, deprived of interaction from the outside real world which offers multi cultural offerings, but hey you "Stiffanie" can always remain stuck in the 1800s thinking you need to fight for the right to munch each other

It's just the make-up and hair that makes them look more youthful.

I can’t believe it either smh

Sue is such a positive person
I think Rhia has a great personality, can't help but like her!! Actually, like them all.... great group of people!!
Stephanie is socially very awkward and stuck up ...I wonder if she has any friends.
Adrian Mole?
Onya Stephanie! Just a wee bit stuffy, repressed, snooty and superior! Glad she isn't my psychologist! LOL!
Stephanie clearly doesn't know what traditional CanCan is. The ladies did a magnificent CanCan❤

Does anyone ever heat their plates anymore? Makes a huge difference in maintaining the warmth of the food while dining. Same as cups for hot drinks.

I would love to go to dinner at Ria's

Very interesting insight into an obvious snob that might possibly be portraying snobbery due to her insecurities.
I dont understand how a teacher can be snobby! I am a teacher and let me tell you its hardly a prestigious job
Psychology lecturer? Stephanie? That's very hard to believe. I think there must be some sort of mistake in that claim!
Oh god Stephanie. As a “young girl” I quite liked that dance and I find it quite inappropriate of you to say we shouldn’t be doing that
Why?
Personal taste should not come into it - it is how good the food is served

I speak Russian fluently and I know I am correct
It's true! I'm Russian and had to laugh when his pronunciation was considered incorrect.
The pronunciation of chorizo at 9:51 made me cringe as well
Thanks. I didn't know that. 😄
