Brilliant, saved me a bit of hassle. I was on the verge of buying a new resistor but this made sense. The fans were working when I bought the car but it's been sat in the garage for a month so when I finally drove it they weren't working. Was able to free it up just by reaching through the resistor hole.
This is great if you are a decent mechanic - It really looks like a lot of hassle - Can't see the ordinary guy going to these lengths to try and fix the problem and the nightmare of having to put it all together again. Thanks for your help but I would rather spend the money and have a Renault Main Dealer do the job. 👍
@@raguccy yeah all great now I replaced the fan regulator (located under the left side of the dash, had to remove the top dash (right hand drive)) and the blower motor located under and behind the glove box. I found both on eBay. Hope it helps.
